honestly people...the show isnt gonna go the way everyone wants i t to. we have to many diffrent fans liking diffrent things.stop complaning and watch the show. not every couple you wants gonna be together,not every love triangle is gonna happen, not all the drama is gonna turn out the way you want it so shut up and watch the show. seriously? you shouldnt quit watching the show if something dosent go your way..that just shows your not a tru gossip girl fan. do i like other couples other then scott/vanessa serena/carter blair/chuck nate/bree. yeahhhhhh!!! but ill live. not everyones gonna last forever in this show. OHH NO. it dosent work like that. hahaha but im still gonna watch gossip girl. gossip girl is gonna get interesting trust me. its the 3rd ep (:

they should have georgina leave and maybe have some one from chucks past come in like maybe he fathered a child or something please i watch this show cuz im obsessed but now it seems that there is nothing to be obseesed with. why is vannessa there anyone, if there gonna keep her then make her more like her character in the books, shave her head. Make Nate's storyline better he's like on of the main characters and Georgina has better stories than he does(not really but sort of) he has barely gotten anything interesting since his dad went to jail. he should be with jenny. and have more Eric, he's interesting im sure him being gay wasnt the only secret that he has(well its not a secret but whatever)have more jonathan and eric scenes. and get rid of scott and vannessa very annoying

I agree with lamlam. Kill Vanessa have Dan and Serena Chair and Nate and Jenny back together. And they are in college now so maybe teenagers cant relate to them that much anymore but im not sure i mean im in middle school and i still watch the show but yeah. And they need better writers the storylines for season three have not been the best thats why probably why the ratings are down, people were unsatisfied with everything so they stoped watching.

if they want V to have more screen time...then it better be about someone trying to murder her and she dies in the end...the episode where she dies will probably have the highest rating of all time LOL maybe 2nd highest, cos the highest would be the final episode where Chair would get married!

Or they can make Scott a REALLY PSYCHO that kills V because she left him with all this rufuslily thing and then that would be interesting also xD

WHAT THE SHOW REALLY NEEDS IS TO GO BACK TO ITS ROOTS! I MEAN, WHAT'S UP WITH ROCKER/PUNK JEANNY? I THINK PEOPLE WHO WATCH GG WANNA SEE PREPPY, WEALTHY AND HEADBANDS! IT'S JUST LIKE THE O.C, AT FIST IT WAS SO COOL AND THEN IT WAS SOO BORING. WHY IS THAT? BECAUSE PEOPLE WANNA SEE THE LIVES OF RICH AND SPOILED PEOPLE! WHEN MARISA AND SUMMER SUDDENLY BECAME LIKE THE ANTI-EVERITHING-PREPPY AND SHALLOW, IT WAS DEFINITELY LESS INTERENTING THAN BEFORE!

Also, even if they dont kill Vanessa, they could at least make an episode ending about it, like she is involved in some kind of accident. We could goosip if she was alive or not...LOL.
After that she could discover that the meaning of life is to be with the ones we love and come back to Vermont to be with her mom...

It's definitely the timeslot. Please don't go on finding faults with the show. I don't think that that many episodes have been aired to judge that it's not doing well. Another thing is that please stop trying to get Nate to show some action. His chararter is a major screw-up so is Serena's but her being with Carter makes me actually like her(sorry Darena fans). We don't need to kill off Vanessa. She's just annoying but if she's not there then who are we gonna bitch about?:) And for more and more Chair scenes, we don't want so many that it ends up being like Darena's boring relationship. Ok I'm done.

funny thing. i was checking the news for Chuck and Heroes rating slide minutes before reading this one.
quick solution? they should just kick off V. lol
seriously. though i love GG, it yet lacks a serious story arc. i was watching VampDi and i thought 'this is a series with a direction'. GG's stalling. i KNOW there are a lot of issues to be covered still (those from the books need to be brought up). it has potential and that's why i'm sticking with it.
at least the writer's made CB get together. they're epic.

Okay...I'm hoping the ratings go up some this season because I'd really hate to see this show get cancelled when it gas so much potential.
1. Get rid of Vanessa...nobody likes her.Everyone could care less what she does.I mean seriously.
2. Stop making Nate such a manwhore! Come on..he's been with every girl on the show and after he's been with all of them they have to bring in guest stars for him to sleep with.Put him with Jenny.I liked it that way.
3. Jenny...please do something with her.She's an interesting character! Don't let her potential go down the drain.She's queen of Constance now.
4. Eric! He's funny! And so adorable!!! Plus he's interesting.Give him more screentime please.
5. Make Whoregina disappear.That's so old.We're over her.
6. Dan/Serena?! Hello...some of us want them together!!
7. Serena....try to make her not such a self absorbed brat.She's just flat out annoying now.I wish she would get over her self.

I watch GG online cos whre I come from, we don't air GG :(
Anyways I gues the timing of the show is rather impt, but what matters most is that the story lines are as captivating as before, enough for one to say "I'm gonna watch GG over _____", "I'll watch GG before I continue with my assignments" or simply just to keep loyal viewers entertained.
So heres my take on this
1. DAN & SERENA PLS. I think they have the most chemistry (second to Chair), well ofcos since they are a couple in real life.
2. QUEEN B! Rly cant tolerate thse scenes where Blair is made to be so 'loserish'. Like helllooooo, Blair's our only queen!
3. VANESSA. I don't really hate her, but her presence is really
redundant. It wont even make a difference if she's there or nt. Dont waste airtime and lets get down to making Blair the QUEEN.
4. More UES! I mean UES kinda distincts GG from other shows. I really hate thse NYU scenes with Blair looking lost. UESUES.
Blair: Just because we can't be together doesn't mean I don't love you.
