God they are really trying to fugly her up this season. Her hair hasnt been great. Low buns, scraped back pony tails, flat centre partings. Leighton is SO beautiful its actually quite an acheivment to make her look not stunning :s Um...Congrats GG?

What with the competitive bids between the two at auction (check out the CW's episode guide) and what happened in this clip ..... Chair power struggle .... think there'll be the white-hot angry sex they promised us?? Or are they saving it for a later episode?
Whatever happens, I just hope we get more Chuck + Blair screen time this time.
Carter and Serena are hot. I like the manly way Carter handles Serena. Not at all like creepy Aaron of the caterpillars (Season 2). More please.

Marlena, you said it perfectly. If Chuck and Blair were constantly doing the expected, eventually, the excitement would fade. The writers have to keep their relationship bumpy, to keep the fans in suspense and itching for more.
Serena and Carter = hot. No question about it. Carter may be bad, but Serena needs a little something to keep her going. I'd like to see more of Carter on the show this season, for sure.

Don't kill me for this but Serena's seriously messed-up! Her and Dan's relationship was boring as ever. Her and Nate's relationship was a complete screw-up. Her and Aaron's relationship was so what in the world?. Her and I forgot that other dude's name's relationship was omg so random and now her and Carter??
Ok before I start making judgements I wanna ask can Serena ever last with anyone for more than 4 weeks?? Carter is effing hot and there's no doubt about that. He's a bad-boy but genuinely seems to care for Serena so I think if Serena can stop being so judgemental they'll probably last for a season.

We should only do that to a point, because there are a lot of things that are PURPOSELY exhaggerated in the show. Sometimes for the sake of comedy, sometimes for the sake of drama. And just like fans, the writers sometimes go overboard, sometimes even ridiculously so, and that starts to smell. I like it when the writers exhaggerate just enough to make it funny or interesting, take a little bit of a dramatic license sometimes, but still keep things generally realistic enough."

My soft spot for Chuck got the better of me and I was hating on them a bit after the last ep (I have a hard time with the "daddy's shoes" comment...and general nastiness from S-bringing up Blair/Elle...I stop my ranting lol)BUT, they are great together and finally S has someone who is on par with her (does anyone remember Aaron, or have we repressed that memory?)

i will comment on serena and carter. i am loving this story and interested in serena for the first time in a long time. face it, i love carter. keep him around. i think he is good for serena, a better match than nate, because he doesn't really entertain her nonsense and gets her to be straight with him. she needs someone with a little edge, it's about time she got him.

Marlena, I really like your take on the Chair relationship. I could'nt agree more.
Besides, we all know the women Chuck has slept with (besides B) never meant a thing to him. When Chuck rejects Blair it's not because he doesn't love her, it's because of something else. This instance it was to focus on a legit business meeting. This is Chuck trying to make something of himself, not just for his own satisfaction but for the woman in his life........Blair!
