Canadian Promo For "Invasion"
Below is another promo for this week's all-new episode of Grey's Anatomy, "Invasion."
It's from Canada's CTV, and some clips shown in the half-minute preview are different than those played in the first ABC promo, so it's worth a look despite the mediocre quality.

i think Dr. Hunt is gone. MW has an awesome trama center, and Hunt's a trama surgeon. Maybe that's why christina was crying...i dunno. just speculation

I don't like the idea of Izzie leaving Alex. Temporary or not. :(

The cancer shouldn't be an issue for termination. Izzie hasn't been as career-wise as the rest of the residents. She cares more about patient care than the surgical procedures.
I'm sure that the Chief is going to look at overall performance and Izzie hasn't been the strong one here. Like Cristina said, everyone is killing themselves to get to the OR and she's interested in teaching or something else, regardless that she knew she was sick.
Also, Izzie hasn't been awarded with a solo surgery either. That may also be a factor. OR time, Attending's evaluations or comments, etc.

I like your idea about Izzie leaving Alex temporarily. It would explain her absence.

I just saw the new promo, and to me, Cristina is crying because she's relieved. Like she learned that Izzie saved her place at SGH, or simply because she's not the one who gets cut. I think this episode will have something to do with friendship or sacrifice.

I think Izzie will get cut. But I am so curious why Cristina is crying, in the new promo she is on Mer's hospital bed, crying and Cristina doesn't cry often!! Can't wait to find out1!

izzie is soo getting cut. grey's anatomy is like really weird now..people dying, people taking off.. =/

Jelly I don't think Izzie would do that for Alex because surgeons are cutthroat and competitive and would not sacrifice their careers so that a fellow surgeon could keep their job (regardless if they are married or not)Plus Izzie's an easy target for being let go (even though people may view it as wrongful termination on one view) I think Izzie will get fired and the surprising thing is that she leaves a note for Alex telling him that she needs to figure out what her place in in life (or some self discovery thing that will take her away in 5 episodes)but hopefully Alex is ok with this because I don't want to see any major marital problems just yet (it is inevitable though) But let's wait till Thrusday then

My guess: Alex gonna get fired and Izzie will sacrifice herself for him. That's why she's so mad in Chef's office. She'll quit and Alex would go back :)
