I'm disappointed. Last episode was the worst ever and not only because of the mercy westers [though I really don't like them ] but generally. I was bored for the first time..seriously. I hope that it's going to be better and the merger thing will finish soon because it's not doing any good for GA. I want the old GA back..I agree with MerDerIsTrueLove - we deserve more than that.

Most of it was horrible and I was so dissapointing!! I FREAKIN HATED DOES MERCY WEST RESIDENTS. AND I SIMPLE DON'T LIKE ORANGE ANYMORE!! THEY ARE SO ANNOYING, MEAN AND CHILDISH AND THEY ARE TAKING SCREEN TIME FROM THE CHARACTERS WE LOVE.
I want the Grey's at it was season 1, season 3 even the last season was great. I want to see the Cristina from seasons 1/2/3 ,the amazing cardio surgeon she was with Burke, that rocked, not like right now, she is like she said fighting for nothing even Owen isn't helpful. I know that he is so professional but he gave the surgery to that rude mercy wester and what's with the' you played football thing? I felt for Cristina... she made me cry! She had every reason in the world to miss Burke. I love Owina but when she was with Burke she was amazing, happy and alive and I want to begin to see that Cristina!! I want to see more MerDer scene that we used to see from last seasons. [I hope it will change after EP maternity leave] they owe us alot of Meredith

I think last nights episode, as well as this season, has not been good at all. I have always seen Grey's Anatomy as a fantasy like therapeutic show like Sex and the City, not a financial recession world of McCheapy and McFiring! With the addition of the Mercy West cast, there are way too many characters and the show just seems like an utter mess. The character story lines, was developed, now are fading and empty. I'm not sure how they are going to bring Izzie back, if at all, to Seattle Grace other than with the clinic. If the show really wanted to add characters, they should have added a new head of cardio and one resident. sigh Hopefully the show gets better, otherwise I might end up losing interest.

Anyone notice that Charlie, Izzie's Mercy-West shadow, brought her the labs on which she based her decision about the dialysis? He then said he'd take care of the dialysis for her, knowing that she'd be competitive and say she'd do it. This sets up the possibility that it will turn out that he deliberately sabotaged her, and she can come back.
From a legal perspective, its ridiculous to say that they didn't fire her over her cancer--just over the fact that she didn't have enough stamina. I mean, the cancer is the reason her stamina is low. She'd have a legit claim.

This episode was a hugh disappointment. The new doctors from Mercy were horrific. I mean honestly, the writing is awful. What group of doctors, merger or not, would act like they did. Oh and Izzie getting fired is one thing, since we all know she is making movies, but to leave Alex is so uncharacteristic of her and her relationship with Alex. Last night was the worst Greys I have ever seen, very disappointing, will probably stop watching. Meredith in bed scenes, please not even worth discussing!!!

The orangies suck.
One thing I disliked about the episode is that they made the SGH residents look defeated and weak to the orangies. Cristina gave up, Alex got down, Lexie rocked by stealing the diary but eventually surrendered and Mer can't even fight back. That is the feeling I hated the most, seeing the usually so tough SGH residents so down.
I hope that one of the orangies is fired next week.
I just saw the promo for the next episode. There is chaos at Seattle Grace, which I think reflects the chaos in the writers office!
ABC were quick to get rid of Hahn and burke from Grey's, maybe they should start looking at the writing staff next?

I have been watching Grey's anatomy since the beginning and always have been a huge fan. But this was the worst episode ever. Of course it would not be easy for scenarists to cover up after George's death but everything looks so superficial that I do not want to watch it anymore. Firing Izzie! Yes you shocked us! Sometimes you do not have to shock people in order to increase ratings, a good way to do that first of all is to being loyal to what these series supposed to be and now I can not like Grey's anatomy anymore.

I agree, I REALLY DO NOT LIKE MOST of the new people. They made everyone from SGH look stupid. They also all looked so defeated, which I hate. I hope we get to see some of that fire back in them again like when they were interns, or when they were competeing for the sparkle pager. BRING BACK THE FIRE!! And why aren't the SGH attendings having to compete with Mercy West attendings? Do they automatically get to keep their jobs and don't have to compete? I hope this merger doesn't take long, and MOST of these new people don't stay!

There was no Eric Dane. Mark Sloan was not even in the episode, that alone for me was disappointing. Then everything was kind of just blah...the Mercy West people are vindictive. I agree with everyone who thinks this episode was awful (not to mention the season in general hasn't been the greatest ever). But last night was the worst!!! And I don't see how it's going to get better! I guess eventually they will have to start getting along and being more of a team, but that could take forever (and knowing the Grey's writers, it will!)
Ugh! I really agree with what Emma said about how they are adding more docs and storylines so Grey's can stick around for a long time, but it is backfiring!
I guess I will probably hang on for a few more episodes, but I'm not at all excited about the future of this show.

I can't believe that the merger of 2 groups of residents wouldn't have had a chief resident overseeing what shambles emerged. I guess we know the MW is now finished as a hospital.
The cardio situation is a joke, although someone will say only the ER staff moved over on this day. More attendings to come?
