Just as i was getting used to Greys with no Izzie...which kinda sucks now :( along with the new people from Mercy West.... :S this weird flash back episode....it was....pointless...i mean, it seemed like they were trying to use the 'old days' to revive the interest in the show...poorly done. The flashbacks do nothing for the story line at this point....who cares if callie slept with alex :S she's got a gf and seems to have become lesbian or atleast bisexual what's that going to do :S it was literally before Callie even dated george we're talking SEASON 2!!!!!! Then the chief and Dr. Grey :S umm...hello 100 years ago, the chiefs on his way out and he doesn't really have a point in the story anymore, this seemed like a cheesy way to keep him in there...i looooove the chief but unless he has a proper roll he seems to be around these days for the fluff of the show 'just to have something there'....the only one that was kinda ok was Bailey...i mean still had nothing to do with anything, but

have to say as much as i hate the merger and what it's done to the SG spirit, I Saw What I Saw was pretty awesome and it has made me love Derek so much more than I already did. I wasn't sure about the new doctors but as long as the writers keep the original four remaining residents i think i could learn to put up with them, although there isn't that instant connection i had in episode 1 when I met the original docs - as much as it pains me to say it - the new docs could be good for SG. More of Derek, Bailey and Sloan though!

I know there was very little Meredith, but Ellen filmed these scenes when she could have been on maternity leave, so I think we're lucky that Ellen was still working

The mistake happened right at the beginning of the episode, I guess when the MW doc didn't check the airway but was busy being envious of SGH residents workload?

Derek's coment is right ,our docs pay the chief's faults...the last scene is great ...bye-bye note-books...i this episode there aren't the soul of grey's anatomy...

I can understand that people want more MerDer, but we know why it's not possible at the moment. It's not Shonda's fault! What a fantastic episode though - Grey's has always been dramatic and innovative and this was a really great example. I was gripped from the first scene to the last. Brilliant!

Chaos in an ER reflects poor management, and it should be a line manager who faces the chop also. THe chief has a great responsibility for not anticipating the us versus them and every man woman for themselves. The culture of saving my hide first WILL NOt improve SGH teaching hospital ratings. Where was the chief resident, oh I forgot, that character doesn't exist cos th writes are busy bringing inMW characters.
THe basic first aid that I have beeen taught is ABC, airway breathing circulation
