have any of you thought about, maybe it wasen't Izzie who made that terrible mistake to the patient, maybe that Charlie dude is up to something and made it look like her fault. so maybe he can get fired when they find out and Izzie will come back!

This season starts with a terrible premiere but the other episodes were terrible too!i don't know why but the writers have to find something and make it more interesting.
Especially with meredith who we don't see at all.
I hope the next episodes will be better!!!!!!!!1

If one of the MW is going to be fired, please let it be the awful Charlie guy! He's simply horrible - his attitude, his appearance... and he didn't show any extraordinary medical skills like the others did. I want him gone!
And if I would have to pick two of them for series regulars, I would choose Jackson Ivery (he would be a nice addition as a male resident, because only Alex is left) and April (she's more of a Grey's vibe - she's goofy and weird with all the affirmation stuff, and competitive at the same time. She reminds me a bit of Lexie). And I would get rid of Reed - she's the kind of character that only messes with OUR residents, and doesn't bring anything to the table - it's easier for me to like April than her.

Funny thing is, when she mentioned that, it was as if Meredith had never been on the OR table, and she was.. when she got her appendix taken out.

There hasn't been a whisper about any of the main characters leaving the show. Izzie's firing has been explained already with Katherine Heigl's five episode hiatus.
I am a huge fan of Callie and Arizona, so I hope that nothing happens with either of them.
I am also glad Mark will be back. I watched all of Invasion wondering where the hell Sloan was. I wonder if this episode was shot during the whole big fiasco with the tape.
It's kind of pointless to hire all these Mercy West residents (and the actors) only to have them appear for one episode and disappear. My guess is those four residents will be around.
I would not be surprised to see Alex on the table this season. Like Bailey said in the episode where Meredith gave her father a part of her liver ... four of her residents have had surgery now. Alex is the only one who hasn't.

I think it's sad that the storylines are driven by personal needs of the actors (TR Knight's wanting to be released from his contract, K.Heigl's movie schedules, Ellen's pregnancy) and not by the needs of their characters. Obviously, I'm not blaming actors for this situation (especially Ellen is amazing for pre-shooting some scenes and coming back to work so quickly!), but the plots lose their credibility (I don't think Izzie would get fired if it wasn't for accommodating KH's schedule; the same with Meredith and her spending a month in a hospital bed).
So, that's why the merger happened... to distract us from slightly weaker storylines of the main characters. Introducing new people was thus kind of inevitable. I think the writers had a good idea to lay the stress on something else than relationships (especially with Izzie and Mer practically gone), build up some tension, create some new drama.

After all of these changes GA has become boring, not worth watching anymore, the people i loved left and the essence of the show was lost. Stupid 6th season...

I think it's either Alex or someone from the Mercy Westers (it's not Cristina or Lexie for sure). And even if it's Alex, I don't think he would be gone for good - there would already be news around the internet that Justin Chambers is leaving the show. Izzie's going to be back, but I don't see how they are going to bring her back to work though...

George is gone because he's dead! He died when i jumped in front of a bus to save a womans life :(
I really miss him, he was so sweet and everybody loved him!
And Izzie have to come back to Alex and to SGH, she own the clinic, it's actually hers so i think she have a right to work there!
And please, please, do something with Cristina! where is the hardcore Cristina who love surgery and medisin? she need a someone like Burke!
And we want more love between Meredith and McDreamy, like before. we all know they are ment to be, but we want romantic!!

We already lost George..COME ON SHONDA! ISN'T THIS ENOUGH?! I know that Katherine comes back and Ellen won't miss an episode but it feels like that no character is save anymore..WE DON'T WANT TEN SEASONS OF NEW PEOPLE..I bet that most of the fans would prefer only six or seven seasons with our old ones..I still like Lexie but I want Shonda to focus on our fab four now Izzie, Alex, Christina and Meredith and around them Owen and Derek..and Callizona! That's enough..the show is really going downhill..AND BY THE WAY: Let Alex und Izzie be married don't ruin that with a stupid storyline..even if it's a bad world out there .. there are still people that are married AND happy, this world exists, Shonda! We need more light and happiness and the people we learned to love in the past five years otherwise I will stop watching!

did'nt like invasion. hate the new doctors, their all happy and bitchy and totally not greys! and were the hell was sloan for the whole episode. this epiosde looks better, lets hope greys gets better.

WHO is leaving in the later thursday?i even think to Alex,but it's thing bad...This show is in caos,i said only your opinion ,i don't see it ,i don't like more with these events.Izzie leaves Alex with a paper without to say hello MER AND CRI after that they did for her...this is my possible and this is happened...Where is going your prefer show?I don't known...the 12 are your docs no those of WESTERN..i don't believe that i' m seeing...

Oh and I could not agree more with yousra say's. It's not the same anymore, instead of surgery's and medicine, we have competition, and I hate hate hate the new Mw people..just get rid of them..all of them, and if you get rid of the originals the show will never be the same...it's already not the same, but it will just not be worth watching anymore.

You know..I have never missed one episode. I love this show, I live for it every thursday, But I really am beginging to hate it now. I hate how George is gone, and I hate that they are merging with Mw and how izzy was fired, I really don't even feel like watching it anymore.

Oh God!!! I was so disappointed with this week episode..And now..Alex is about to be fired too!! I don't like him that much but come on..Izzie then Alex..Who's next?? Christina?? Why don't they just fire one of the new residents, one of Mercy West??Can't they just leave our residents in peace!!
I don't know what the writers think or what they are planning to do, but what I'm sure of is that I miss the old Grey's.. I really miss the old episodes when we had a lot of Mer-Der scenes..When we had a mix between hot-relationships and good medicine..When we had great moments of joy and sadness..When we were able to laugh and cry at the same time..
When our residents where the only ones on track, when they were trying to save lives..But now, the only thinks that matters in these episodes is:Competition with stupid new residents (that I hate by the way)!!
I hope that the writers are going to put things back together and give us what we are all looking for: A Damn Good Grey's Anatomy Episode
