I am more wondering because of how private practice was tonight, if there is a possibility for Sam to become a permanent member of the greys anatomy cast. Or at least a few cameo's given that he was a heart surgeon and seems to have the hots for Bailey. It would make sense since Cristina is dying for some cardio and Bailey is now single.

Yep, it's true. Katherine Heigl is taking a break from Grey's Anatomy this season to go off and shoot a Josh Duhamel movie. Supposed to be temp.

Bringing Burke back would make this show the best it can be.
I still miss him on the show and have so much more fun
watching reruns with him and Christina than watching the current show.

OK why do people think Isiah will come back now that TR is gone? He badmouthed everyone when he left, including Patrick and the producers. They quite clearly said the thing with TR was only the last straw, and Patrick is still there, the guy he shoved into a wall.
Enough with his few fans demanding he comes back all the time.

I miss Burke too. He's a great surgeon and a great character!
But it's no surprise that will come out from her. Burke is the only attending whom she looked up to and he's the only one whom she learned a lot from....
Gosh as much as I love Owentina, I really do miss Burke :(

I can't imagine one of the regulars being fired. Just can't.
I miss George so much as I didn't know I would. Can't lose someone else.
Maybe the new gal, Kim Raver, will be the new cardio doc. They need a strong cardio character on the plot.
For sure Cristina misses Burke professionally. He was arrogant and with a God-complex as Bailey said in 1x02, but he was a gifted surgeon like no one else in his area. She learned a lot with him.

she prob misses burke because he gave her surgeries and now she isn't getting any and she could get fired and if burke was still there she prob wouldn't

Burke gave her the chance to scrub in a lot of surgeries and Owen hasn't done that to her, maybe it's why it'll come.
I like the interns (or residents) that stayed. Ryan and Steve are hilarious. I rather have them giving more air time than the ugly orange dudes.

We'll see a lot of the ex interns from the last 2 seasons in the episode Oct 15. I can't remember their names, megan was fired last week wasn't she? Please could someone do a who's who, so I can at least route for them in future episodes

I hope next week one of the new residents is found to be at fault in the fatal burns case and gets booted out of SGH. not fair to have another one of SGH residents disappear.

Maybe she misses Burke professionly!! He was a great surgeon and she learned a lot from him!! Hahn didn't teach her anything and now there isn't a cardio attending and there is no one who can teach her to improve her gift. That's why she told the chief to cut her last episode. I bet she is going crazy without cardio!!
