I love the way Chuck tells her not to come to the party but she goes anyway (as the spoiler photos show). I hope we are in for a chaircentric episode. Blair's hair does look better and the white dress is back (well obviously a different one). I am really looking forward to their scenes next week. Just can't get enough of them.
Obviously the writers have to orchestrate unrealistic scenarios to keep us interested, but some good old fashioned lovin would have been far more appreciated by the fans before all of the drama started. There relationship seems so fractious a little bit of grounding wouldn't go a miss. We still want to LOVE them and want them to be together.
Finally what keeps me interested is the dynamic between Ed & Leighton, they seem so happy to be acting together. They bring out the best in each other. He makes her feel like the beautiful and sexy Blair and she makes him feel like the handsome and talented Chuck Bass.
Well I read from a spoiler, not sure if its for sure, but basically he wants Serena's help, but not Blair's. Still she tries to help, but my guess is Serena's help he'll like and Blair's will be messed up and he'll get more mad at her for it. I'm thinking she'll either be mad back or cry/just look really sad and say she was sorry again and only trying to help. Then I'm hoping once he realizes people picking Serena over Blair is one of her biggest insecurities (hence starting with season one and all throughout the show practically) he'll go take his turn apologize and they will make up. Since I know for certain from articles, interviews, spoiler pictures, etc CB are for the long run this season and if they do break up it won't be until the very end of the season.

like someone said before, Chuck is obivously preocupied by the opening of his club and he doesn't need to see the person that betrayed him. ok maybe betraying is a big word but I was really dissapointed in Blair last episode. The episode overall was great but please! I get it, she's bitch and she loves scheming but that was awful even for her, I hope that she'll help Chuck in some way cause I love CB but it's totally understandable that Chuck is mad!
they're totally gonna make up.
i've seen them kissing on set in episodes we haven't seen.
but i just think its REALLY STUPID! like the writers REALLY AND TRULY have not thought this through.
first of all: chuck kissed a guy, and is only upset because he had to kiss someone that wasn't blair. SIGN OF SERIOUS MATURITY and sweetness. you can tell he loves her SOOO much. THEN SHE COMES BACK AND IS CRYING AND BEGGING FOR FORGIVENESS and he doesn't even make an effort to do anything. he says he's in a meeting when really, there's no one in there. UNREALISTIC! like it would be more realistic if chuck had gone back to his old habits and had asian twins naked on his bed. but not even inviting blair in to TALK ABOUT! WHEN NO ONE'S THERE?????????????? UNREALISTIC!!!!
second of all: chuck is not that stupid. he should've known blair well enough to think that she was gonna blackmail the dude. i thought that was obvious even to people who have never watched gossip girl before in their life.

yikes sorry! hope you get them fixed. i watch some of the episodes online so i definitely couldn't go long without speakers haha
and i agree with you about blair. she used to be clever, classy, elite, and independent. now she is annoying, desperate, pathetic and evil (what she did to chuck!!! stupid too!)
anyway, i hope chuck and blair make up but only if blair gets her personality back! and ya, thats ridiculous of her to expect a present, im just as confused as you are!
Exactly! And also I mean she is sort of the reason he was inspired and motivated enough to get the dang place to begin with. Remember when she gave up what she thought was acceptance at Yale and told him she believed in him. He said that's why he was doing it at the end of the episode. And I guess that answers your question about the presents guys right there. I mean if she got them for sleeping with his uncle... lol.
You know what is the stupidest part of this whole thing?
She didn't even have to use Chuck. If she had told Chuck the plan, he would've totally gone along with it. He loves her that much.
It's just the writers wanting to have Chair drama.
And they have DEFINITELY gone through worse.
And chuck got over her having sex with his uncle really fast, and he brought her presents!
It just doesn't make sense.
You would've thought he would've gotten over it by NOW
Am I the only one who thinks this whole last C/B thing was considered way too big of an ordeal? I mean, I guess I think it's the writers fault, but the episode could have been so funny instead of everybody getting sad and pouting... Now it's going to be another Serena in the spotlight, which is annoying because I thought she had matured a bit with the Carter thing. But as soon as he leaves it's all falling back to where it was before. C/B have done way worse to each other and we all know B is going to the party anyways and it will end bad and then maybe at the end after the party they'll make up. Only if I were B and he wanted space then maybe I want some space too. Instead of making her look weak, the writers should embrace her true Queen abilities and have her go have a girls night out with her new minions. Show that it can be a party... Even without the incredibly sexy Chuck Bass. And that way a GG post will be sent out and the club thing could go well too. I want Blair to finally g
thank you so much! okay seriously. as much as i love chuck and blair, why is blair being so annoying lately.
WHY WOULD HE GIVE HER A PRESENT!
SHE'S THE ONE THAT SCREWED UP!
just confused. why was it blair's idea?
and I KNOW my speakers are SO ANNOYING!

serena: ...and i don't have time to think about it...oh! this is probably her calling now saying there's not enough chi in her chi-latte...hello?!
chuck: are you alone?
serena: chuck, hey!
(whispers to blair-) am i alone?
blair: its obviously about a gift!
chuck: (from speaker phone) serena?
serena: yes hi i'm here...sorry.
chuck: hotels that don't book over the holiday season don't make it to the next.
serena: i'm sorry are you in trouble? do you want me to call my mom, see if bass industries can help?
chuck: i don't want bass help, i want a publicist.
serena: okay, great! um...well i'll call Condeneste and Tablet hotels right away.
chuck: no, i no longer have time for the establishment to accept me, i need them to come begging. i want to open my club tomorrow. (then he says "the whole thing" or something like that but i can't really tell...)
can someone give me a play by play of what just happened.
like what they said and everything?
because my speakers are broken.

um why does blair assume chuck is getting her a gift?? she did something chuck wouldn't have ever done to her, even back when he was all mean and bad. and she did it for no reason, and poor chuck!! blair shouldn't assume he'd want to make up with her at all, much less buy her a gift!!
but, im glad blair looks good again, and i love b+s scenes
i don't like blair now. she used to be one of my favorite characters because she always was mean/conniving with a heart, but i don't see the heart in what she did to chuck, that was just plain evil.
hope this episode is good though! i was hoping they would do a halloween one!!

It's a very conceivable idea. It's actually pretty smart of Chuck to exclude B from the business affair, seeing that he is still hurt and needs space, he wouldn't want to face and deal with the drama of emotionally-charged encounters when he should really be concentrating at the business at hand -- the club opening. So there is really nothing to worry about. B is still the fairest of them all in beauty, and C is still the fairest of them all in forgiveness.
