Other than the season premiere, In my opinion, this was the 2nd best episode of the season. I LOVE MerDer and was shocked that I enjoyed the show as much as I did with the lack of their characters. When she did not check her throat I said outloud, she didnt check her throat, but did not think that would be the deciding factor at all. Is this merger going to be all season? I really love my original Greys characters and want that back. But kuddos to the writers for this episode because it kept me on the edge until the end.

I can not, CAN NOT wait until the Derek show next week. Derek has been needing this for a long time and I am so glad we and he are going to get it! I also love how MerDer have became; although it is boring and comfortable, back in Season 3 and 4 how bad were we wanting that? They will get back to being excited MerDer, but I love the place they are at now. The closing scene shows how much they have progressed because in Season 3, it probably would have been Christina

Like I said before. I don't like the orange people. But the only one I hate is Charles. I think he is ugly and I don't like his attitude. Had I been Izzy I'de thrown that hot coffee right in his face. You don't disrespect a woman like that. OK to change the subject. Maybe someone can answer this for me. Did I hear or read that Jackson might be hooking up with Yang? Or was that just where my mind went. LOL!!! I think they would be a really cute couple. Alot better a couple than Yang and Mc Creepy. I have not liked Owen since he first set foot in SGH. I might be way off on what I"m getting ready to say. Back a couple of days ago there was and article about the couples having relationship problems and they said that this would affect Callie and AZ too. I got this really weird feeling when ?Reece? was standing in the hall with her hands in her pockets that she might be the one to cause Callie and AZ problems. I don't know why, but I get the feeling she might be bi or gay. Don't ask me why.

Loved the whole episode! Definitley different and kept me guessing right until the end. I'm glad it was one of the Mercy-Westers, but wish it would have been Charles! I agree that it's awesome to see Meredith actually act like a wife, asking Derek how his day was and stuff. That totally didn't seem possible a couple seasons ago! Looking forward to Mer being back full-time and the Derek episode next week. Should be good!

I loved it! I loved it! It was a very well directed episode. I was totally in awe of how well written and directed this episode was. The sequence of events was just amazing! I just wish there was more Meredith in it.

GA did something new here. As a former huge ER fan, I did find some similarities in terms of a chaotic ER but nothing like this GA episode. It really does deserve some credit.

    sorry for my english

it was great, I love it, of course I miss some things about characters and there was weir things too, but I couldn't stop to watch

I love arizona-lexie (mark'd have said something too), and I like arizona working with sloan I don't know why, this season mark isn't working with other doctors like 4 and 5 season and I like him when he does

    Excellent episode!
I really liked it and I start loving new interns from Mercy West, especially guy with green eyes!

Also, I don't miss Izzy at all
and can't wait to meet Kim Raver as new cardiac surgeon!!

    Kiss from Croatia!

This was a very unique episode! I really enjoyed watching it, would've enjoyed it even more had I watched it before reading the comments here! I might or might not have picked up the mistake.
I love that this episode adapted the 'Vantage Point' style...very creative! And even though this is just a TV show, but this episode taught me that every single detail, every single part of the body of the patient must be checked! Miss out on a single thing, and there might be consequences. Thanks Grey's for giving me good advice for my future.:) Hopefully when I become a doctor in a couple of years time, I would remember this episode, and never would miss out on checking a patient's throat!

MAN, this was a great episode. I wrote a recap for it using somewhat blue humor but nonetheless this was WAY better than last episode. Sorry for the self promotion but seriously, HOW HOT IS JESSE WILLIAMS? aka Dr. Jackson Avery. NOM. http://videogum.com/archives/recaps/greys_anatomy_s06e05_thundercl_097251.html

This epi was good in terms of actual medical stuff, it was the first epi in a while that dealt with only medical stuff and not much relationship stuff. It scares me if something like this could really happen. I did enjoy Arizona talking to Lexie, she has a mean side like Callie which was good to see. I hope there is more couples action next week, though that doesnt look likely.

Too many people to try to be interested in, where's Bailey? Did you see her on last week's Private Practice. That was the Bailey of the old days. We don;t get to see her anymore and she made Grey's what it was. Her writing, the line's she'd get, her relationship with the other doctors. Cristina used to be kick ass and now she's kinda blah. Lexi was a brain and now she's stammering in every conversation and can't make a complete sentence. Not sure what's happening here but it's kinda painful to watch. Not sure I'd want to be a patient in that chaotic hospital. i need at least a little romance in each episode. nothin lately. We need Bailey and some of the good stuff! It's kinda seeming more like ER now. No funny moments just drama.

  12. Just a Girl

I enjoyed the episode and the suspense of it all. It was a fresh way to see what the characters were going through. I still don't like the Mercy West residents though, they rub me wrong. And I guess that's because there's no cohesiveness with them like there is with the Seattle Grace people. Seattle Grace sticks together and have been through a lot. I agree with Derek's statement at the end, there are just too many people and utimately the cheif is at fault. After "Attitude reflects leadership." I don't think he was doing all he could to save this hospital with the merger I think he was just trying to save his job.

On another note, though there was only a few seconds of Meredith, I think where here character has gone (grown to) is great! I love the domesticness of her and Derek, though I could always watch more of them! Hoping too to see some more Lexie and Mark, Owen and Cristina and am kinda of nervous about what's to come with them.
Season 4 quote seems appropriate here:

Amazing episode! Loved it! I still hate the Mercy Westers, but I'm used to them now. This episode made Reed look like an human being, oh my!
Btw, I loved it, but can you please tell me where Meredith, Derek, Callie, IZZIE and Mark and Lexie were? I missed them. I still miss George, too. :(

This episode of this evening is very different by others...a caotic ER doesn't a good episode because it isn't as grey's anatomy is....okey this'll be the season change...I like it only to final moment when April is gone...I lost mer, izzie and derek too...This episode showed as oranges-doc weren't closed,at the beginning our docs were more closed...i think sooner than later all oranges-doc are gone...

this epi was a bit unlike greys.
It was very hectic. i just felt like alot of parts were missing.
There wasn't enough couple time. We didn't even see Calzona together at all.
Where were the rest of the remaining doctors from Lexie's class?? Why was she all the sudden the only one rollin wit "the big dogs?" I know Steve and a couple others are still there...

I thought there wasn't enough original grey's characters screen time.Too much about MW. Too many doctors, just like derek said!

I did, however, love how derek told the chief like it is. He didn't sugar coat nothin. Just wat the chief needed to hear.

It was an amazing episode!!! Sure, we haven't seen the couples together, but there was chaos, so it wouldn't really fit in anyway.

I felt so sorry for the burned boy, totally understood Lexie when she started crying fo him! But I'm glad she could go back to him, it was a good lesson for her and made her stronger.

And I don't miss Izzie at all. Mostly I like her, but there was too much of her lately, so it's refreshing to take a break.

Poor Alex! He's so unlucky, I hope Shonda will stop torturing him like that! After everything he'd been through in his whole life, he deserves to be happy at least for a little while!

( sorry for my english )

I loved it! Intense, exciting and unsure until the end. I noticed that April forgot to look in the patient's throat and thought about it, but forgot it straight away when everything else happened. Loved the multiple perspectives, really well filmed and thought-out. It's sad that one such simple mistake could make you get fired so easily (the same goes for Izzie last week). They don't look at the whole picture.

Loved what Derek said to the chief and I hope he'll consider it and make SGH a better working environment. Loved the end scene with all the residents talking about it, and how they didn't fight each other - esp. loved Cristina's words that it could have been anyone of them.

Also loved Arizona talking to Lexie, but I didn't really get why Lexie got so upset. She's sensitive, yes, but I've never seen her like that in front of a patient and she's had a lot of severe cases before. I was thinking maybe she had some personal connection to burn victims or anything, but that wasn

This was so non Grey's Anatomy episode.
It's like i watch a different show now.
This was a show about 5 interns trying to be doctors. Now it's like... i don't know but it's not Grey's Anatomy.

THAT WAS THE BEST EPISODE of Grey's in a long long time if not the best due to the unique way it was told. Reminded be of that movie umm... Vantage Point. I'm beginning to warm up to the new people i do like that guy umm brown skinned tackled last episode i don't know why everyone is still upset over the new cast (i know i was all negative at first) it adds a bit of spice to GA if they werent here what other plot developments would there be? I'd rather not devote all season 6 to relationships i.e OwenXCristina etc. I rather like this merger arc mixes things up the show needed a breathe of fresh air.

Well if one is the worst and ten the best. I'de have to give this eppy a zero. I pretty much thought it stunk. I hate the new people. They are about as good as Faye Dunaway (don't remember Fay's screen name) and Dr Dixon. I was hoping that the whole bunch of the orange people would be fired. One down and 3 more to go. That was just a mess to many Dr's and not enough focus. And I fell asleep watching PP. That has never happen to me before. Anyway...Greys is going to have to get back to the show we all have known and loved for all these years. The only good part of the whole show was AZ giving Lexie grief and Mer getting to go home. Our couples didn't have anytime together which I hated. Yes in my humble opinion this eppy was rated (ZERO)!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. Steph

Great episode..loved it. I was glad that it was one of the Mercy Westers to get fired, but i was a little sad that it was April..oh well ill get over it atleast it wasn't one of ours this time...

  22. Cherie

I KNEW as soon as I noticed that she didnt check her throat, that that ONE mistake was gonna cost this woman her life, and April her job. Glad to see her go. I know we're "supposed" to hate the new MW'ers and I certainly do! Gotta protect the MAGIC- well... MAIC.

It was a cool episode. And unique. But it didn't feel like Grey's Anatomy. Probably because Izzie was gone :( I miss her sooo much. Anyway, I really hate that Charles guy. I wish he would have gotten fired.

What I said on last message - total cliffhanger! tension was almost palpable! loved it, loved it.
