I had hoped the person from Hunt's pat would be the new male cardio god, shame it's another female doc. What are the odds she'll stay and join the series, and GA time for all the characters we like is diluted even further

Maybe she is owen's sister.....do you see the resemblance? Maybe she will have an issue with christina and it won't be due to romantic involvement at all....here's hoping anyway :)

Izzie and Alex are going to have problems, Chris and Owen are gonna have this person coming back from Owen's past. Callie and Arizona have to deal with Callie's father, and his issues. I haven't heard anything threatening MerDer and Mark and Lexie yet. Probably next half of the season. If I hear that they are going to mess up with MerDer I'm going to be pissed I think they have messed with them enough. I'm pissed that they are bring someone else to mess with Chris and Owen I love them too, whatever happen to originality.
BTW they should totally screw Mark and Lexie they have it way too easy. is not fair.

I agree that she is putting too many characters into the storylines... Go back to they way it used to be in the second and third seasons with the main characters really involved.

No, this is ridiculous. I really hope she's not a cardio surgeon, cause that is just far to stupid and predictable. I can totally see that happening though and she'll work with Cristina all the time and poor Cristina will have to be nice to her cause she's her boss and her only chance for cardio cases, ahhhhh! What makes this even worse is that I cannot stand Kim Raver.
Cristina really can't catch a break. I swear if Owen has any sort of romantic interaction (like a kiss or even a glance that lasts too long) with this woman after everything he's told Cristina and everything she's gone through for him, I won't like him anymore. Hopefully he stands by Cristina and this new character is only there to bring out Cristina's relationship insecurities and lead to a disscusion about Burke. Then she can get the hell out.
LEAVE OWEN AND CRISTINA ALONE! :(

Give O/C a break! Talk about repetition - Addison coming out of the woodwork for McDreamy, then Beth for Owen - and now again? Surely they can come up with a better storyline than that.
Plus, it'd be pretty hard for Owen to leave Cristina now that he's promised her 40 years, choked her then told her to meet him half way!

Jessica...I didn't care for Sadie or Erica but I like the other characters. Callie had to grow on me as well as Arizona with the whole crying thing she's got going. I don't want Burke back but I do want Cristina to tell Owen about him. The reason why I'm not liking the idea of this new character is she reminds me of the nurse Derek was with in Season 4 I believe her name was Rose. I want to see where this storyline goes as long as it doesn't break Cristina and Owen up and as long as she's not there to stay.

Why are you always against new characters ?? lexie, mark , addie, owen, callie, arizona, sadie (as a guest) , erica (before she got fired) , are all new characters, and don't tell me that you don't like them !! and the merger will not last , it's for few weeks like the chief said, so the new doctors will be gone .. what is the problem with you guys .. u always say negative opinions before you even watch.. and bringing burke back ??? SERIOUSLY ???? Katherine Heigl will be first to leave !! and all the other actors will be disappointed.. and if shonda wanted to bring burke back, ABC will not allow it..

Haha...I'd love to see that. Actually, I'd love to see these people outside of the hospital a little more. Karaoke should be fun but I'd put first the ones who can't sing (everyone else, LOL).

I don't watch 24 but they need to ship this lady back to that show. C/O have enough with both their pasts, she needs to tell him about Burke (I don't want him back after what he did to her character wise and actor wise he's just full of drama) and he has his PTSD

I'm not saying that they need to bring back Burke necessarily... just want her to laugh like she did in that episode where she danced (one of GA's best scenes ever!), she has a contagious laugh!
I agree with everyone else who think adding so many new doctors detracts from the focus of the show. I'm just hoping it will get better as the season progresses.
On a random note - I'd love to see a fun (possibly drunken) karaoke night since Sara Ramirez can sing.

i thoroughly love owen and cristina. they are my favorite on the show... but seriously? beth was enough, we don't even know the full story about her or what owen even wrote in the 2 line email, and they bring in another chick. there are so many places to explore with owen and cristina, it's frustrating that instead they bring in another woman.

I can't stand Burke. Besides Shonda said he would never be back. She said his time on the show had come and gone. In my opinion that would be a slap in the face of TR. Even though he isn't on the show anymore. Besides none of the other actors wanna work with IW. Most of the fans would not be happy to see Burke back after the way things went down with TR. It would really hurt the show. I for one wouldn't watch. I think it would also be hard on Shonda to try and tell a gay story and make it believeable with a homophob like IW there. Soooo lets move on. He is GONE. And as for Owen. Could we throw him under a bus too?

It looks like none of the couples are safe now...but Cristina and Owen are great together, the writers have to give them a break already!
Despite this, I like Kim Ravers and wonder if she's going to be the new head of cardio...it would be interesting because of Cristina.

I feel the pain for C/O shippers. All MerDer fans went through the same thing with Addie and the Plant and it wasn't nice, AT ALL. Maybe they'll get their Candle House at the end of the season?
This whole triangle thing is old for this show. I love GA but sometimes, they make it hard on us. Tough love there.

I am annoyed at how they never give Cristina a break! She is finally starting to do "well" with Owen, and now this? Also I'm frustrated that Bailey is taking out her frustrations on Cristina. I'd like to see her laugh and have fun like she did with Burke.
On a brighter note, at least they are making McDreamy out to be a great chief. They are emphasizing his steadiness and compassion with others. He's come a long way from his indecisive self during the Addison/Meredith times.
