The hints that they might bring infidelity into Alex and Izzie's marriage is horrid. I can't believe they'd do that. Not EVERYONE cheat on their spouse and not EVERYONE gets divorced. That is so overplayed in this show.
Yikes

I am praying that this is not the first definite sign of ABC entrenching Grey's Anatomy into the "show that never ends" format. The show simply won't survive (it may become something different entirely) for the intended 15 seasons and I want nothing more than to see it finish properly after 6 or 7 years instead of dragging on throughout the next decade just to keep the GA namesake on TV. Please just focus on the core characters, resolve their stories, and leave us with something we can enjoy over and over when we watch our DVDs. I am not interested in Grey's becoming the next ER.

that's not mean I don't love callie and arizona together, because I love them
I am really upset about this!! Why Izzie and Alex?? i hate this seriously, after the last episode i tought that maybe the writers wanted to explore the relationships they´ve created.. and as far as i am concerned that was Krista´s statement right? So WTF!! i love Alex and Izzie together and don´t want new people screw healthy relationships!!! what a soap opera GA is becoming!!!

I agree!! People have hard time, fight with each other cause it is life but that doesn't mean that everybody in a relationship cheats or mess up a marriage over a man or a woman. I will hate if they do that. They can still be together and happy!! I wanted more screen time from the main characters not time from new people who probably are there to screw up some of our favourite couples:/.
i feel like if they keep screwing up the relationships like this and make it so flaky with a zillion characters that greys will turn into a cheesy soap opera...
we want good quality storylines for our already large cast and to keep em all together!! jeez!

What the crap they already cast people to start relationships with Married Alex and Izzie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I swear we wait year after year for them to get together and stay together and then the writers do this to us.....I'm really not liking what they are doing. I have been a avid Grey's watcher but I'm not interesting in any other people coming in and messing up the couple I want to see be true to their marriage does everyone think people always stray in marriages. Please keep one healthy relationship, I do believe people can be together and stay happy, not everyone cheats!!!!!

Ohh God!!
I have a feeling that these new doctors will damage some of the current couples on the show such as Izzie and Alex like it is hinted. Seriosly:( They should focus on the main characters not adding new people!!

Why are they already hinting at us that Alex and Izzie may stray from their marriage. I'm guessing that Iz will want to be attractive to a man, and Alex will seek refuge in another woman? Euck!

These new characters are already in the mix, I hope they are only on the equivilent appearances level that the interns were on the last 2 seasons. If they all become mainline cast members the way they introduced Callie continuing through to Arizona, I will feel like we have been saturated with too many new characters. Looks like we are going to have as many characters as Hill St Blues, remember that ensemble cast?

Bring them in but make them leave in a few episodes! And explore older characters more!

As long as they don't become series regulars then I don't mind. Guest stars and recurring characters are fine.
im so annoyed by this. so far on the poll, 95% of us don't want a bigger cast...i wish the writers would understand!!
i feel that the bigger cast will add lots of things to talk about but why cant they focus on deeper stories for cast members we already have but dont have a lot of background info on?
For example, we could explore Alex a bit more, or learn more about Arizona. We could look at Callie's relationship with Arizona and give them airtime, or find out more about Mark's past..?
I feel that would strengthen our already large and wonderful cast and have audiences more invested in their characters. We need to dig deeper, people!
