Private Practice Episode Guide: "Strange Bedfellows"

at . Comments

Last night on Private Practice, Violet's attacker, Katie Kent was on trial.

Violet couldn't bring herself to testify at first. Then when she was ready to, a plea from Katie herself made her second-guess her intentions regarding the crazy woman.

After tearing her a new one in private, a composed Violet tells the court that, in her expert opinion, Katie was temporarily insane. As a result, she'll likely avoid prison.

Pete was not pleased, and Violet realized only then that he is a victim in all this too. He begs her to come back to him and Lucas. We really hope that she agrees to!

Elsewhere, Charlotte joins the practice with a specialty that Cooper has a real issue with. Also in a flashback from last season, the swapped unborn babies return.

Addison has to operate on one of them, and the consequences are tragic.

Violet on the Stand

Who will testify, Violet the victim or Dr. Turner the medical expert?

Very powerful episode. I have to applaud Violet's testimony. I wouldn't be able to that. I also liked that she finally recognized that Pete is also damaged from the attack. He's also hurt. I love Charlotte King. I hate to admit it but she's hilarious, powerful, independent, clever woman. She can do anything. And Cooper is hilariously insecure. Poor guy. Love him too. I was kinda eh on the moms and their unborn babies. Like the final Addie/Naomi scene. They're back to normal.

It was a great episode. So powerful and intense. My favorite scene: Pete and Violet, when he yelled at her and then begged her to come back to him. And when she finally understood that he is a victim too. What a powerful performance by Tim Daly and Amy Brenneman. Wow! Give them an Emmy already! The medical case was really sad, but well done. Charlotte should kick Cooper's ass and find herself a better guy. Anyway, liked the episode and can't wait for the next one.

I cannot believe how powerful that episode was. Amy Brenneman put in her best performance that I have ever seen last night. It was amazing!

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

There's a reason I said I'd be happy alone. It wasn't 'cause I thought I'd be happy alone. It was because I thought if I loved someone and then it fell apart, I might not make it. It's easier to be alone, because what if you learn that you need love and you don't have it? What if you like it and lean on it? What if you shape your life around it and then it falls apart? Can you even survive that kind of pain? Losing love is like organ damage. It's like dying. The only difference is death ends. This? It could go on forever.

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."
