Found Christina hilarious like always "oh that could be surgical" that was lol. Lexie is such a blabber mouth telling Thatcher that Meredith got married on a post it. That is none of Thatcher's business.
Yeah the writers need to stop making fun of the post it if they wants us MerDer fans to accept as their wedding. Seriously.

i also thought that the scream was funny. but i laughed out loud when cristina said thatcher's problem was surgical. good ol' cristina just wants a surgery sooo bad. the last two episodes she was just funny as hell. gotta love her sarcasm

Yeah my brother is a 3rd year resident and he isn't even making 30K it all depends on the area that you are working in because remember when you are a resident, you are still technically a student...Once you reach Attending thats when the big bucks come in you jus thave to be patient

Ok so the 30k isnt bad, i mean both my mom and bro make like a little less than that each, so im sure with 2 paychecks of 30k they can afford at least an apartment if we're affording a nice house that was built in 04.. but besides that.. i am soooooo excited for this episode,and cant wait to see alex screaming haha!

If I saw a bear on my way out to work and it growled at me, I would be screaming too. It's a natural and absolutaly hilarious reaction. Like come on people, it's a BEAR LOL!!!!! Surgical Residents make F all until they begin to specialize and make a name for themselves. So I believe that they can't afford it. What I don't believe is that someone like Callie who is the best in her field and is like practically an Attending, can't afford to go to a nice restaurant, that storyline annoyed me, she should be on good money at this stage. If Arizona is on good money then so should Callie.

Surgical Residents make at most $35,000 a year, if you work in like NYC. Most residents are barely above the $30,000 mark. Medicine = delayed gratification.

I love JC and all but this was some serious bad overacting on his part. I know this show wants to do funny but all they are being is silly and ridiculous. They always go way overboard.

Residents don't make much. $30/35,000 a year sounds like it. I'm not sure on the Attending status but if they're the hot-shot that Mark and Derek (I'm not sure if Owen makes the same) are, they earn about $2 million a year.
I think that Izzie meant that they need more to sort of live in the same quality of housing that they lived in Mer's house.
