I hate Orangies,I hope the head of plastic torture that gang" like he did in seasons 3 and 4 with alex and george, they are original characters and suffered a big (and many times funny) humiliation, in that point the newones deserve a lot worse
and owen? he's suposed to support his people and his girlfriend, poor cristina, and I don't like owen anymore, between impartial and not support there are a lot of possibilities but owen's picked the not support
and poor alex (yes, I know it's because KH is going to make a movie, but...). and I hate the way they fired her. yes, they need to do something fast but after she stole a heart!!! come on!!!

About Izzie and the possibility that Charles was the one who actually did wrong... he didn't, it was all her. We see her ordering the "zero-k bath", whatever that is. So no luck there :(

Mari, I usually try to watch it online, but I havent found a good place to do it... The last times I tried, the websites I found havent worked... So I watch the sneak peaks, read the spoilers, the recaps, the forum discutions, because i just HAVE TO KNOW whats going on... but i got tired of trying to watch it and started counting the days for Season premiere here...

The Private Practice episode with Bailey made some things clear. She’s half glass empty. I still miss her teaching and caring about the residents. Meredith was the “get together” one.

I really enjoyed this episode. I HATE HATE HATE THE ORANGE SCRUB PEOPLE. I really enjoyed all the Callie scenes, she is amazing when she yelled "You cant pray away the gay" awesome. Aweswome about the bible quoting going on "Jesus is my savior not you" Also loved the Alex/Lexie/Christina lunch scene. Arizona is awesome, she and Callie are amazing, she is such a good girlfriend. Poor Mer being stuck in the bed, and yay for the Christina/Mer moment in her room, they are good friends. I am glad that Callies dad finally accepted her, their scene at the end was good about babies, her being a vegitarin, and about Arizona and Callie possibly getting married.

I havent seen the ep cause season 6 will start next month here in Brazil. I just wanted to say some things about the merger...
People are saying that they dont understand bringing new people and having to cut staff at the same time cause of the meger... Well, it´s kind of like this... SGH had his budget, and MW had it´s budget. Now that they are only one hospital, with the merger, we have a larger budget, and we have to accomodate most of the staff from both hospitals. It´s possible to save some money because you only have one Cheif, you only have one head of each department (cause of the merger), but the whole point of merging is to save money, because of the economic crisis... So, there´s the merge, they save some money, they have a bigger budget together, but they have a huge staff, so they have to lay off people.
I hate that Izz was fired. But it looks like she really did make a mistake. And the hospital have to lay off some people. And they are bound to lay off people who m

I HATED this episode! There was no Christina/Owen!! I hate how the writers haven't expanded on this relationship in the last few episodes. I also feel like Baileys anger issues are now getting old. I do like the idea of a merger however, I think these characters should not take away screen time from the old favorites. I do get why they have added this merger because lets face it the derek/meredith on and off story line was getting VERY old!! I would like to see more light story lines and more stories that go into the history of some of the characters like Owen, Christina, Derek... I also would like a lot more Owen/Christina time and see how they are as a couple. I would really like to know more about Christinas past and find out how she got the way she is, because lets face it you don't become like her because you've not been a little damaged by the past... I am finding many of her scenes very cringe worthy and that needs to STOP!!. I have become very critical of greys in recent years

Ok my company just merged.when two hospitals in my hometown merged the staff was transferred to the one that stayed open and others were laid off. The budget to pay the new people came from the cost saved by closing additional locations. In the beginning of the episode Der Callie and Owen are discussing how mw er closed that day. Financial question solved. Expansion of cast? Four extra surgical residents is all I am seeing right now. The chief firing izzie? He was trying to explain to her what Alex said when the hr witch shut him up. I am sure we will learn more in coming episodes and kh isn't gone she is making a movie so keep the faith.we will get her back and it will be great as always. I don't like the mw peeps either but that's the point. We aren't supposed to. They will be developed over time and we will see. Loved Meredith in this episode. She was a rock. Loved Der in this episode. He is an attending. Its his job to not alienate these new people. Besides he is perfectly secur

It was a great episode, but it left me feeling so awful. Is it crazy that I feel threatened by these new Mercy West characters?! I feel like they're going to take away all our Seattle Grace characters!
Callie and Arizona were as always, amazing. As were Meredith and Christina, their friendship is such a great thing.
But I do hope next episode is a little happier, and not so threatening.

Just a good episode. Too much about the merger. Less about the relationships we love. As I think it was the intention, I felt “invaded”.
THE BAD.
I miss Meredith. I will miss Izzie.
Still, can’t understand how a hospital doesn’t have any cardio doc. Can’t. Seriously.
Bailey is too hard for me. I miss her teaching. As an attending she still has the job to teach residents and interns. She’s still angry and bitter because all that happens in her personal and professional life.
Miss Mark. Why he wasn’t in the episode? There’s no reason at all! Everybody (the mains characters) always was in every episode besides the Chief who misses some of the first ones.
Alex reaction at Izzie’s note was less everything. The last scene wasn’t good.
THE GOOD.
The Chief is caged. It’s not easy to do the administration tasks. That’s the only reason I’m glad Derek isn’t the chief now.

I don't know how to feel like about the episode. I mean, that b*tch stole George's locker, the locker he kept for 5 years! And that other jerk!! OH GOD!!! 'It's like I have my own surgical bitch!' Oh god what an ass!!! Izzie's reply to that made me almost cry! 'We got each other's back and we throw ourselves in front of buses to save a stranger's life!'
And than she got fired, FIRED! And she left Alex!! Why in the hell did she do that?? WHY??? And why did the chief do that? He just didn't want to feel guilty for what he was doing to one of his residents and she just made Alex's name.. Why? That was just rude and inappropriate! The chief's been so selfish in these episodes! I hate him! You see, I thought that the tiny lil girl who stole George's locker and that big guy, Charles, who said Izzie was his surgical bitch were going to ruin Izzie and Alex's wedding, but I thought they would have had sex with them, not just stole their jobs! I need them to be together! They can't do this! I

In one episode my favorite show went to hell. I hate the addition of an entire cast!! Where does that leave the characters that we know and love. Just as SGH interns\residents fought for surgery the actors will be fighting for screen time. I feel like the patient waiting on the kidney...Lost, disappointed and helpless!!

The orangies are lame, and I want them gone.. especially that little short haired b-tch. She strikes me as someone I would want to hurt.
I really wish we'd get back into the realism that Grey's once was.. I mean, they used to talk about how they would make sure an interesting surgery actually had been done in real life before putting it in the show.. and now they're doing a life changing storyline that makes no sense!
And, there are plenty of shows that have limited amount of characters and last a while.. Will and Grace (a show I love) was on for 8 years with only 4 main - and SOMETIMES 5 or 6 - main characters the whole show.. never 16 million. Grey's is totally different from ER. They had a way of making all the characters work. The ER is also a broader type of specialty; there are so many things going on; it's not surprising they had all the doctors they did. Surgery is just as big, but this show was brought on by a small(er) cast.. let's keep it that way.

YES, i totally agree. it makes absolutely NO sense. I was confused as soon as this season started, when they mentioned some "merger" event. Its just unreal, this would never happen in real life. And yeah, i can see how they're trying to relate to the economic crisis, but the writers should've used a different/more realistic strategy to explain this awkward, overly caotic and tension filled flood of orangies!

i have so much to say lol. its crazy
i thought it was kinda funny when lexie just spit hella lines from that girls red notebook right in her face all at once lol. yea, it was kinda mean, but sometimes its good to see that aggressive, "im not takin you shit" kinda attitude from lexie. it builds her character more.
and i love how callie's father has FINALLY excepted for who she is! OH and BTW, its really exciting to see callie as an ATTENDING! Although she hasnt had any exciting surgeries yet or anything lol.
I felt like alex should have cried in the end.
They dont really try to hard to conceal EP's baby mound lol. it was hella obvious in the bed.
Oh and uh, i miss george :(, as if he were a real person kinda way. they just keep bringin him up, and its sad...
"You will never measure up to the people that we've lost here" in particular, is what iz said to that ass face charlie guy. I think she was mostly referring to george.

Kelli, you see where it makes no sense about the merger? It frustrates me. They obviously did not think this storyline through, and if they were trying to match it with the economy we're facing, no hospitals have merged; in fact, they've either shut down, been in danger of shutting down, or have just had layoffs. Not merger with another hospital, and fire doctors who were in the original hospital. I think THAT'S what bothers me the most. They're firing employees from the hospital that the other doctors are coming TO. Totally stupid.

I loved this epi, and there have been a ton a great comments so far.
just to agree with the obvious; mark was totally MIA (wth??) i KNEW something valuable was missing. it just seemed...off.
then, that charlie douche bag ass face. I would've thrown that coffee in his face!
i agree, callie is a fckn rock star! She held up the episode with her powerful scenes w/ her father and Arizona. GREAT acting by SR (especially on the jesus quote battle part). IMO, Calzone is a great match. They are absolutely adorable and perfect for eachother.
Christina was also an AWESOME character to watch in this episode. Her coming in to vent to Meredith. The breakdown, the frustration! It was so real. She is fed up. And for her to bring back Burk even! That was good. Meredith's facial expression was hilarious when she said that lol.
Meredith is the awesome strong motherly sort of figure now, and i love it. she's so cute :)
