Bringing Burke back for some difficult cardiac surgeries would be cool. I think that's a good idea. I doubt it will happen though. I miss Burke alot, too bad Isaiah Washington is such a tool!! They should just bring some other handsome dude back and call him Burke!! LOL Burke was an amazing character!!! I miss Burke soooo much.

Seriously!!
Cancel Private Practice and bring some of that cast to Seattle.
The invaders suck!
I don't get it sometimes!
It was a good episode. Very deep at some points, but the new cast isn't doing it for me. The writers could expand on the other castmates.
O my god! I'm so sad about Izzie! I can't believe they fired her over this. She gave 8 million dollars to the hospital for god's sake!
And I really don't like Charles & Reed but the other ones are okay. Especially Jackson, he's so hot.

Jelly: I'm sorry, I don't think her reaction when Denny died was overreacting either. She lost her husband, for God's sake. She risked her career to save him and he still died. Put yourself in her shoes. I'll just leave this argument at that.

I don't know what to say.. I hated it. What the hell was that? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't grey's anatomy.
It wasn't bad, I would've enjoed it if it was a different show but it's just NOT grey's anatomy.
They're not just invading Seattle Grace, they're invading the whole show, they're invading grey's anatomy.
you know it's not right when you're watching the show and all you can think of is "I miss everyone".
The whole time I was thinking:
I miss Cristina
I miss Meredith
I miss Hunt
I miss Derek
I miss Izzie
I miss Bailey
I miss Arizona
I miss Callie
I miss Alex
I miss Lexie
I miss Mark
and I miss George
I'm so very disappointed with this :(

Lauren: That's what I meant when I wrote that she's overreacting sometimes (the Danny thing). Yes, she quit the job but she didn't disappear without a word. She suffered in front of everyone, made muffins, weared a sweater. She did everything in very obvious way. Even when she slept with George she didn't run. But she walked to the locker room and prayed like crazy person so every one could saw that something is wrong (hilarious scene btw):)That's why I think her behavior is was strange to me in this episode.

I loved the episode as ususal, but don't like the Mercy "Invaders". I didn't like the fact that Izzie was cut, but believe that she will be back later in the season. Loved the scenes with Callie, her dad, and Arizona, Meredith and Christina. I think that Burke should at least be brought back for a couple of extremely difficult cardiac surgeries. Loved the crossover for Dr. Bailey on "Private Practice". Play up her personal side more. Maybe, Sam could become a new love interest for her.

You also need to remember this is the same girl who, when Denny died, quit her job and lay on the bathroom floor in her prom dress for a while.. she doesn't seem to handle that kind of stuff well. Just my opinion as well.
She's got a lot going on. The first thing on her mind was probably not saying goodbye.. or maybe it would hurt too much for her to do so, so she decided leaving quickly would save her more pain.
Jelly

Yes Lauren I think so :) Of course it's my opinion but i think it was too much. I was never in situation like this. But I think that..at least I would say goodbye to my friends.
And I really hate this TV Show's stuff when the characters are mad at someone (or leaving them) without giving them a true reason why are they doing it :)

Jelly, you think Izzie was overreacting? Stage 4 Melanoma, and then she loses her job.. that's not overreacting IMO. She doesn't know what to do with herself. I love Alex and Izzie, but I don't blame her for taking off. She's not divorcing him. Give the girl some time.

Ok..I'm very, very, very angry right now. Izzie being this way? And leaving Alex only with a note? For show good idea, for I/A fans WTF? Izzie is overreacting sometimes but not too much.
Otherwise..i liked this episode. Mercy Westers were a cool bad guys..I really enjoyed the "ninja" one :D

I was prepared to dislike this episode (not hate it, though, just kind of despise it) from what I read... I loved it though. And that last scene? NOT anticlimax at all, it was played perfectly.
I get that Izzie would want to leave, but to leave Alex? Oh come on. Not good, Izzie, not good at all :(
Oh yes, about Callie- I loved how she quoted Jesus, and I love that she made up with her dad.

It was only alright. The MerDer scene was really sweet but I hated the new people and the way the Attendings were so not looking after their own!!!! Both Derek and Owen kind of just let these idiots walk all over our faves!!! My heart broke for Cristina and I really hope we get a Cardio God soon, just to make her happy and I really hope they like her because I really don't want another Hahn, Cristina is the best and she deserves her shot. Callie owned the episode, when she started quoting Jesus I was just like GO CALLIE!!!! Awesome!!!

I really really didn't like how Izzie was fired. She didn't get fired for cutting LVAD wires, she survived stage 4 metastatic melanoma, but she couldn't survive this single mistake. I just don't get it.
But I love Mer and her spirit! Poor Cristina, she is starting to breakdown.

i thought this episode was a big jumble of emotion and newbies all mixed together. i have to allow it to sink it, but wow the end almost made me cry. izzie (one of my favorites) getting fired, and then leaving alex! they're one of, if not my all time favorite couple, so i really hope they don't break up for good. something tells me they wont. i was also pissed at the chief for making it sound like alex said to fire izzie.
but wow, gaile and jenmarie and lauren, now that you mention that...that would absolutely make sense, i hope that's what happens, i felt so bad when bailey was yelling at izzie.
Lauren

The takeaway for me was how no matter how much he tries to claim he's changed for the better, the Chief is an insensitive, selfish prick. He fired izzie by saying it's her husband's fault. Sure, take away a recovering cancer survivor's main support network when you're trying to rationalize your decision.
