Aunjanue Ellis: The New Boss on The Mentalist
RIP, Sam Bosco.
Terry Kinney's character was killed off The Mentalist two weeks; but the CBS drama is wasting no time in finding a new character to come on board the show.
Aunjanue Ellis has joined the cast of the hit series in a recurring role. She'll portray the new head of the California Bureau of Investigation, installed following the death of Bosco and the resignation of the unit's supervisor, Virgil Minelli.
Ellis is a veteran of the small screen.
She's most recently been seen on episodes of The Good Wife and True Blood and will premiere on The Mentalist in early 2010.

ms ellis character needs to go or be nicer, hopefully all the orginal cast members remain, i do not care for ms ellis's character if she stays i probably won't be watching the menalist if grace or risbey goes i won't watch the menalist any more
