I think it's absolutely hilarious that people love DAIR! a couple that has never actually been a couple..ever. It goes to show you that people are picking up on the chemistry. That raw love, hate relationship...mostly hate.
Honestly I think people love DAIR more than they love SERENATE and JENATE which are real couples that got together. I think this website should have a poll. If it did this is what I think the outcome would be.
i wouldnt like a hook-up between dan and blair their characters just dont "click" ...
leighton and penn may look good playing opposites in a movie , another show , or something cuz they DO have chemistry ..
but not in gossip girl .. im 99% sure that DAIR is NOT going to happen (unless this season)
becauseiloveher, I agree with every word you said. writers and fans usually end up liking diffrent characters and that sucks so much.
As for saying Chuck and Blair are boring because they are too much alike...Look, I understand if you like Dan and Blair, but that has to be one of the most crazy reasons to. My favourite scenes are the ones Chuck and Blair are plotting something and we can see how much alike they are.

Really. And you think this is because of some fundamental flaw in the concept of Chair and NOT crappy storylines written by crazy people constantly trying to undermine their relationship? The writers hate Chair and it's their secret agenda to make you tired of them, too. After all, Chair was just intended to be a bump in the road on the way to Nair, if you will...imagine the bitterness and resentment they feel because that unintentional couple became one of the only reasons people watch the show. (I'm talking about the majority of crazy Chair fans, and no, I am not stereotyping and trying to claim that people like you would stop watching as well.) DAIR, DAIR, DAIR, DAIR, YESSSS!!!!! ILY!!!I've heard alot of people say lately they'll watch the show again if they give dair a chance its all over youtube if people just look and see how many people like dan and blair. I do, and I know alot of others do as well. So people stop being dramatic and saying ull stop watching the show grow up life goes on. sorry had to say hat go dair!
I just watched the latest Grey´s Anatomy episode, which here in Brazil is aired on Mondays, I have como to a conclusion: anyone that says that Chair cannot have a great storyline simply because they are together has not watched Grey´s Anatomy and a number of other tv shows. Both Chuck and Blair are great characters and I refuse to think that just because they said i love you they are free of troubles. Anyway, I just wanted to let it out. Now I feel better. lol

I will be watching for my little tiny snippets of Chair. I agree with those who said we were promised a prodominantly chair season and we have got zilch!! The odd twee scene but nothing substantial. They do not even have a major story line.
Leighton said in an interview that Lady Gaga was Blair's idea!! so she will have a supporting role atleast. It will mainly be about the threesome fallout, boring!!!

How much more Chair can there be? The fans don't want them to break up, so what should they do? They've already done some weird kind of game, tried to buy the same painting, had work vs. pleasure issues, helped each other get along in their new worlds (college and business)... They've had plenty of storylines this season.

Yeah, she is a teenager. One week she is on the couch with swine flu, next week she half of the main characters supporting her main story, and this week she is back on the couch. In today's episode, Chuck's airtime is being used to bring another story for Jenny. Can you spell trash? I know you can smell it. And there are some people on this forum that will have you believe that Jenny is the most interesting character on the show. Trash.
And I actually prefer Rufus not talking. Get him pregnant or something, have Blair steal his shoes, chain that wafflemaker to his ankle and stick him in the kitchen, making imaginary waffles. Do you notice how the writers handle happily married or dating couples? Get Rufus and Lily married, and sweep them under the rug, which is where they belonged to begin with. Get Chuck and Blair together, and sweep them under the rug, occasionally bringing them out to support Jenny a story line, because this character could never sway the masses on her own. I wo

ewww, i dont want dair., it would make me stop watching the show. better dan and vanessa. and IA with the person who said SS lied to us, she promised cb would be a priority this season but they dont even have a SL together anymore. and im SO OVER NYU SLS, wasnt this show supposed to be about the UES?

Ehm.. Jenny is a teenager. They do a lot of lying on the couch, reading magazines. What is Rufus supposed to say, 'Go run up and down the stairs a couple of times?' She's thin enough as she is :)

Great character they are making Jenny into. Lying on the couch, flipping through a magazine, wasting away. Give Lily a child to neglect, and she'll do a banged up job about it. She has a lot of experience in that. If Rufus was a concerned parent before, he is now a glorified blowup doll, with no say and no brains left. And the idiot doesn't do anything AT ALL, not that he ever did anything anyway. What kind of writing is that? Who are they trying to appeal with this trash? Or are the kids that are watching so screwed up in the heads from their own family drama that they consider these stories normal?

Yeah, right. We're barely gettin any Chuck and Blair scenes, and there is demand for Blair and Dan scenes? Hasn't the lonely boy been getting enough scenes as is? So much so, that it's even upstaging Nate's class whore status. Forget what's realistic or not. This show was never about what's realistic. The writing has been complete trash as of late. I don't mind fantasy writing, but I've had one-month pizza leftovers that smelled better than this trash. Blair Waldorf says Ew!

Lol... Yesterday I watched some series 2 episodes, and in 'A Southern Gentleman Prefers Blondes', Serena says to Gabriel you shouldn't mix business with pleasure. Kinda funny when you think of what's going on now :)
I'm really curious about Lady Gaga. And I'm even more curious as to what problems Serena is going to tell Nate about. And whether he'll be looking confused again :P
