If they are going to spring Chuck's mother on us soap opera style, they had better pick a pretty looking lady for a change. Not the kind of monstrosity that they cast for Vanessa's mother or something like that. And not the kind of wooden dummy like Lily. Some women just don't age well to be on TV, especially when they have no acting talent to compensate for that. Heather Locklear would be cool, however. That's a nice glass of dom right there.

I, however, believe that Bart and Chuck's mum are being seen in some kind of dream. It'd make sense to make her "live" again if she's actually in heaven with Bart lol! It could explain us a few things, maybe some flash-backs, dunno!

wow. a chuck bass storyline. i'm quite shocked. he's been only used as a prop nowadays..good thing the writers thought abt this. it should be good.
Hmm, I hope Gossip Girl doesn't turn into Gossip Whisperer. It'd be really weird if Bart came back as a ghost, haunting Chuck and it'd be even more unrealistic if they decided to revive him. My guess is Chuck would go to his father's grave where he'd see uncle Jack. He'd face some serious problems with him and he'd probably remember something Bart Bass told him that would help him solve the issue with Jack. Though on a second thought, that would be a really lame storyline after all the buzz about the return of Bart Bass. Good thing I'm not one of the writers :D

I'm so glad they're going to revisit the Chuck/Bart relationship. It is so what makes him a great character and I think they should continue to bring it up.

i think the only real family are chuck and jack, but if they are meaning the actual Bass der humphrey family then things change.
-jenny,dan obviously are not going to be there
-serena has enough with the accident SL
-eric is really an option because they did get on well
-lily is a fifty-fifty possibility
-but my guess is on RUFUS ,cause he's still a good man even he married bart's widow ,so he may go to show his respects, i hope is this one ( please people that hates that rufus took bart's place , don't create an argument of this)

i noticed him mentioning his mum in the pilot as well...but thing is...once the show gets picked up they tend to change somethings in the pilot...hence y they prob made him have no mummy!...if that makes sense...

Actually, this whole thing about Chuck's mother being gone is a major plot hole left by the writers. If you guys remember in the pilot, Chuck makes a remark to Nate about stealing some some prescription pills from his mom, but then later, he tells Dan that she died giving birth to him. So which was it? The writers should have definitely figured that out before the later episodes aired, lol.
If it does turn out that Bart faked his death, Chuck will flip his shit for sure. (I'm sort of excited for that because Ed Westwick is, like Jordan said above, such an awesome actor.) Does makes you wonder who was really in the coffin at Bart's funeral, though...

Well Chuck Bass does have a brother in the book series doesn't he.
They more or less introduced his bisexuallity ('Do you really think I never kissed a boy before') from the books in some way...
maybe now they throw in his sibling as well...
