Grey's Anatomy Spoilers: A Difficult Decision
Grey's Anatomy spoiler discussions seem to be centered on Cristina a lot these days.
Today's excerpt from TV Guide's Q&A is no different. See what you make of this:
Q: Any news on what's ahead for Cristina and Owen on Grey's Anatomy?
A: If there's one thing we know about Dr. Yang, it's that her career comes first. Has her time with Owen changed that? We'll find out as Cristina gets stuck with a very difficult decision that could drastically affect not only her future, but one of her closest relationships.
What do you think that decision - and relationship - might be?

Now that George is gone (I miss him), you should bring back Burke, I think that would make the ultimate love triangle for Christina and definitely heat things up!!

I think the chief must offer Teddy a contract extension cos the buzz is Kim Raver is going to be a regular cast memeber. So the triangle will continue as a story line. Plus I think Cris' decision will be to drop Owen cos he's going to be singing the blues in the final webepisode. Why would he go to the bar on his own otherwise?
No news on the MW docs changing theirstatus yet. Perhaps they'll continue to be occasional reoccuring guest actors

I think that she will have to make a decision on where she wants to go with her life. I believe that she will still want to go into Cardio, but she will find that she must include Owen, which will let her open up to him about her past.

I always thought that Mer would chose Neuro!! She is great including the clinical trail with Derek in season 4.

You're welcome juju, hope it helps.
It'd make sense since Cris is yelling get out of my OR. My only doubt is to who she's yelling.
Yes, Izzie is the only one that didn't get solo surgery. Iz is way behind in terms of her competition. She may have to repeat some of her second year, if she ever comes back.
I wouldn't worry much about the invaders. I don't think that they'll pass through the season. Except Jackson. It seems he's the only one liked.
soso,
Apparently, so did I. She hasn't said anything, except in the deleted scene in S3, before she drowned that she may choose GS to be like her mother but...nothing else. Maybe it's assumed because the Chief is mentoring her?

I was looking at wikipeadia's GA entry.
On the Meredith's page the contributor to wikipedia has stated Meredith's chosen specialty is 'General Surgery'.
Have I slept through that decision?

Thank you anuflas for your help.
The solo surgeries do make sense, and it would appear in episode 11 Cris gets another solo surgery.
I am right in thinking that Iz missed out on her solo surgery, aren't I? So if iz gets to be a trainee surgeon again doesnt she need to catch up?
One of the many things that bugs me about the MW I am can't figure out what year of their residencies they're doing.
But I really do miss the elevator scenes. Considering ABC always use the elevator as part of their promos introducing every season, I think we need to see some scenes in an elevator asap

juju,
I tried to do some research about it but couldn't find much. In theory, second year residents train interns but Bailey wasn't a second year resident when Mer, Cris, Alex, George, and Iz began their internship. So I guess it's up to availability or disposition of residents.
As for your question, I assume yes. Second year residents already get solo surgeries, I think that by now they are able to close up, especially if they are third year which they may already start doing surgeries on their own too.
Also, according to the Chief's speech of last season, Mer, Alex, and Cris should start thinking about specialties. OK, only Alex and Mer. They are third year now and if the timeline makes S6 an entire year, by the end of the season they must have a specialty chosen.
I miss the elevator action too.

What is the difference between a second and third year resident? Is it that the third years don't have interns? Lexie doesn't appear to have any as a second year resident. Do third year residents finish the ops by closing up? Plz, does anyone have any idea?
The clinic seems to have disappeared, no action in the elevators anymore either

I think Teddy getting Cris to do thst surgery is due to Teddy reading Cris hunger for surgery correctly, and teddy is going to be digging away at the foundations of OwTina's relationship. Sly Teddy.
I don't think that we will see the end of MAC eating lunch together, although when Iz is back, wil she want to sit with her husband, os expect everyone to side with her and desert Alex
