Ace I completely agree with everything you said! But if their marriage is truly over then why didn't Izzie ask for a divorce when she came to Seattle Grace? If their marriage is really over she would have ask for a divorce right then and there so maybe she's still trying to think about the reprecussions. I'm an A/I shipper but even I know what Izzie did was WRONG! I'm completely on Alex's side but really I don't condone cheating either and I'm mad about this SL. I really like the idea that Izzie leaving= dad walking out on him it makes sense (maybe that will come up in the Jan 21 epi when Izzie returns)

I think it's weird people are still defending George's actions or sugar-coating what he did as something that was good. The man cheated on his wife. He was in the wrong. Even he admitted to that when Izzie was pushing him to tell her: he owned up to the fact that him cheating on his wife, a wife that supported him during his father's death, a wife whom he hurt who he said didn't deserve it, was wrong. I find it difficult for anyone to justify cheating or casting it in a good light.
And no, I'm not bagging on just George. Derek was guilty of it. Addie. The Chief. Ellis. Call me old-fashioned, but cheating is just wrong.
George's "one" mistake doesn't make him better than Alex, it makes him just as flawed as Alex. And you can't compare Alex to George in that situation because Alex wasn't accountable to anyone. Alex wasn't with anyone. Alex wasn't the one married. Ava was. George slipped that finger on Callie's finger and vowed fidelity: Alex didn't.

God where did the Gizzie vs Lexzie debate come from???? George is dead and he is NEVER coming back god let it go. I'm a lexzie fan and yeah both relationships were different.
I don't condone cheating on a spouse under ANY circumstances.(Even though I love Addison! and u know what happened between Mer/Der/Addison) I mean I get that Alex is heartbroken and angry that Izzie left him but I really don't like that people are ok or condoning Alex having a one night stand becasue Izzie left him and she deserves it.(or that ppl just hate Izzie and want her gone)
I'm an Izzie fan but even I'm upset and angry with her character right now. She's being selfish and taking things for granted and this is really not her personality. Maybe Alex having a ONS will get her to WAKE UP and figure that Alex won't wait forever and leave to think about whether their marriage is worth being in (if Alex still wants to be with her) There has to be drama among couples (it happened for 4 straight seasons wit

Really? So how do you justify that Izzie slept with a married man as well? If you look at it objectively, Alex is doing the same thing she did.
I think that this whole Gizzie vs. Lexzie (or whatever it is) is getting old. Both relationships are completely different, with different set of circumstances that surround them.
Give it a rest.

I was a gizzie fan, and I still am, but dear god people, gizzie ended two seasons ago! stop talking about what kind of hero george was, and how george would have never did this to izzie, when he's not even on the show now. each character has there own personalty, alex happens to be an asshole, but he means well.
season 6 has alot of potential!

I'm sad for Justin Chambers ,because his story in show goes as the Heigl career ,he is less important than Heigl ,but this is not right.I think that Heigl must decide to go away to the show or remain in the show.I think that Alex sleeps with Torres.

This will ruin Alex like it did George. Correction, George wasn't ruined. His one mistake just showed he wasn't perfect and was human, which made a lot of people relate even more to him. George was viewed as the heart of the show by many until the day he died, like the ehro he always was.
Alex, on the other hand,w as ruined way way before this, when he treated George like crap, when he cheated on Izzie with Olivia, when he treated everyone like dirt, when he slept with a married woman (you know sleeping with a married person is just as bad as cheating on your spouse) and didn't care about ehr husband or kid.
George felt guilty for his one mistake. Alex never does for his many mistakes.
I'm not surprised he cheated on Izzie. I always expect the worst out of Alex, and he always delivers.
Despite the way they started, George and Izzie had a much saner love. Alex and Izzie never did.
Not sure why anyone roots for them as they never had a normal or happy relationship, except

Teddy or Reed, maybe? Alex and Addison were really hot, but I really think Addie is trying to learn from her past mistakes as an "awesome cheater" and not wreck another marriage. It could just be someone new he meets at Joe's...
Also, Justin seems great-really down-to-earth, in spite of everything he has to balance- a wife and five young kids, two of whom are twins, I think, and a job with such long hours shooting. He must be so exhausted, but sounds really calm.

WORD! That wedding was wasted on a marriage that we all knew wasn't going to survive. To be honest, I wasn't THAT devastated since it would have been a wedding to please Izzie and not for them, but I was all for the Bahamas, drinks-in-the-ceremony wedding.

Why can't they make Alex and Izzie be the ones who stay together and Mar and Derek have these issue Alex and Izzie don't need this they are the pefect couple and they are meant to be together. So the director should make they get make together and stay married They both love each other i am Tired of Izzie being a Bitch to him and always getting her way and i am tired of Alex being sad and down make him happy and make them stay together.

I don't think it's Reed.. it won't be surprising.. we all know that she likes him a lot and she has been undressing him with her eyes since she arrived to Seattle. So her it would be obvious!
Addison- will be busy with Mark's daughter etc and I don't think they will make her between another marriage.
Lexie- Maybe a possibility. She is fed up with Mark and his daughter and the tension with Addison there. So Joe's alcohol and Alex right there!
Teddy- A very big chance. She is in love with Owen while he is totally in love with Cristina. Izzie left Alex so he is upset and alone.. so alcohol and sex!! And she doesn't know that he is married either.
Mer and Cris- NO WAY!! They are both in a very commited and totally in love.
Bailey- Ewwww. She is like the residents mom.

Alex is going to have his one night stand and Izzie is going to come back in the next ep. I think they're going to focus on getting Alex to forgive her for leaving for a while. Then, when things are good between them, Izzie will find out about his one night stand. Hence, more drama. Possibly a way for KH to leave the show? :(

I think its Reed. It’s obvious but they can make it in a non predictable way. Reed would be a recurrent problem, more drama. Definitely could be Addison. But instead she would be a truly one-night-stand cause she’s going back to LA. None of the others work for me.
That’s why I can’t accept the “perfect weeding”. Just can’t! Should be MerDer. They are ready to commit. Forever. Truly. Alex and Izzie were in the beginning. What a waste. They own us a breathtaking loving dreammy weeding for MerDer soon!!!!!!

I think is the most obvious choice. They are suppose to say is shocking. I think is Reed, if not Reed is Teddy just because she has a hot triangle with Owen and Cris doesn't mean that she doesn't get lonely and gets it on with Alex for one night. Ok i jus wanna say i dont care who the woman is that alex sleeps with, but y does he have 2 have a 1 night stand?? Iv reali enjoyed season 6 of greys but with this spoiler the season is jus gonna go down hill again..Adultery isnt the only way a marriage can end so y dont the writers think of something else! Alex really loves iz & he's hurt but thats no reason 2 cheat.. Haven we had enough adultery on greys?? We saw hw the adultery ruined george's character, do we reali want to ruin alex's too..This sucks:(

My vote is on Teddy... but Addison is a good possibity, too!
Izzie will freak out at first when she learns of him, cheating, but will come over it as soon as she realizes that she made a pretty big mistake herself...
I think KH will be back fr the whole S7, but after that she will probably go... I hate that thought, I'll probably stop watching then. Izzie is my favorite. But who knows, maybe somebody else can convince me to become my favorite...

I really think the prospects for Alex and Iz's marriage surviving are very slim. The wedding was a gift from MerDer cos the oddds of Iz surviving when it was given to Alex and Iz were almost none existent.
I don't think Alex had contemplated marrying Iz before Mer gave him the wedding. I really think Iz loved the thought of the wedding. I don't think Iz expected to survive the cancer. So two unprepared people who loved each other got married.
I think the marriage would have fared better if iz hadn't left the way she did. Both Alex and Iz can't forgive each other. Alex has kept faithful but alcohol will be be his downfall. So if he does sleep with Ms X, will he tell Iz and will she forgive him??
