    I think Mark is not really a good help since he's a little biased in the situation. Remember in "Give Peace a Chance", Mark said to Derek "He's the Chief". I think Mark is scared of the Chief plus has a lot going on with Sloan Sloan (I find her name hilarious, sorry). Sucks because I rather see this happening between Mark and Derek.
    
    Hunt might be a good help. He is absolutely impartial to the Chief and Derek, for the time being. I bet this is how Cristina gets involved in the mess.

    Im all 4 derek & owen bonding cause i really like their friendship & derek was also there 4 owen after his ptsd episodes! Im super excited. Derek's probably gonna be super angry at chief for using mer. Cant wait to see how this all unfolds!

    Okey Derek askes advice to Owen,tha's right, another different point of view on the interaction between Mer and the chief...this is strange and beautiful because Mark isn't free in this moment.Derek is worried for Mer and now Derek is under stress for this
