@THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT REAL
Hollywood isn't build in one day....they dont call it the most successful place for entertainment production in the world for nothing!
You said you are doing research for your PhD...they have countless of PhD's doing researches for them too you know. This is exactly how they want we "commoners" react to their productions or else they won't even bother hiring any marketing major. I thought a PhD student like you should've figured it out long time ago...

Thank you all for responding. If you must know the truth I am a PhD student in the field of Social Anthropology. I posted the previous rant as part of a sociological experiment. The experiment is intended to answer the question: "To what extent does celebrity obsession fuel aggression and delusion in the anonymous social sphere of the modern blog?"
You have all provided support for my dissertation. Also, @CarpeDiem (do not remember the name...but apparently you wish to seize the day), good luck being an architect. Try not to tell any serious clients that you engage in this sort of strange schoolgirl banter.

Chuck and Blair are so good together. Nate is cute this time.
I read that Leighton Meester has signed on for a new country-music movie "Love Don't Let Me Down" alongside A-Listers Gwyneth Palthrow and Tim McGraw. L will play a beauty-queen turn country singer. Can't wait for the movie.
Know what? Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick should totally be starring in a contemporary romantic comedy/drama or musical ala "Moulin Rouge" or a period piece together. They would be awesome, given the on-screen chemistry we already know exists. They're potentially an epic screen couple. What do you think?

I thought Nate's look on his face when Dan said he wasn't going w/the girls was so funny. Ans the scene with Blair & chuck was good but like most of you I'm ready to see some real action between them again. Maybe it's time for the return of bad Chuck!

Some people are so annoyed with the writing that they turn all stupid and start blaming Meester and Westwick's acting itself. The only two on the show that have any talent in the first place. If you want to complain about the writing you won't hear a complaint from me, but if you want to complain about the bad acting you have the rest of the cast to choose from or risk sounding all stupid and frustrated. Good writing may dry up but good acting never dies. Some people should stick to watching sitcoms.
it's the first chair scene i love in a long while. and i disagree, i think the acting is really good, maybe blair is a litle whinney, but hey, it's blair. and chuck looks so HOT

The first clip was so bad. Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick have both gotten worse at acting -- they're really sucky now. She's all whiny and stupid, and he's all broody and annoying. The quality of this show has really sunk. Sigh, sigh. If I could go back and time and change one thing about this show, it would be Bart's death. It was an awful idea! It killed off a neat character, turned Chuck from hilarious teenager to the hero/moral compass/grandfather of the show, and is bringing this upcoming failure of a storyline about Chuck's "not-dead" parent (HOW STUPID IS THAT?). This kid is a business owner? Doing business things? Doing serious stuff? No. Just no. The writers fail so bad at thinking up good storylines. They need to stop being stupid.
I blame Bart's death, also, for the transformation of Chuck's wardrobe from freakin' bizarre/awesome to boring.
The second clip, though, was really funny. The Nate-Dan interactions are terrific!

So what you're basically saying is that most of us dont have lives. Well you must not have one because you got so bored and took your time to write a pretty long post on this topic. And the fact that you read all those comments, geez you have a lot of time on your hands. I for one have school, work, friends, family, and a whole lot of other things to do. As do most us. I hate the phase "it's just a TV show." We know it's not real, we pretty much figured that one out a long time ago. Let the real fans of GG be and stop being a troll.
