That's absolutely correct. Chace's acting has NOT improved. Nate is goofing around in that scene, and it's cute, but that doesn't spell good acting. I don't mind watching funny scenes with Nate, because he definitely looks funny and all, but if you're going to talk about facial expressions, you better look at Leighton, because that girl has a broad range to offer. Actually, she is very well suited for comedy, and that is EXACTLY what takes the edge off her B character, and makes it so loveable. In fact, I liken this girl with some of the greats of comedic facial expressions. Lucille Ball had it. Fran Drescher had it. Leighton Meester has it. But she is not just a clown, because we have seen her do great drama. That's what you call a complete package.
It's also true that an impulsive personality like Nate would have chased after Serena more actively and more often. A lot of time passed since the inception of those two as a couple. There was really no particular reason to do it now. T

And FINALLY, Chuck&Blair get a real storyline. It's been painfully long since their last one.

Bahahahaha! No kidding. And guys Chace's acting has not improved. Just because he's learned to furrow his eyebrows a little more dramatically does not mean he's learned a new facial expression. It means he's dramatizing the old one.

FYI DUHHH. of course we know, i mean you are like making a hasty comment just bcoz we like GG, and btw we both like the actors and characters,but we are more focused on the show & yeah we are upset at first when we knew they werent couples in real life but thats it, so mind your attitude and dont rant about how should we develop our lives and blahblah, this is for fun- and we love to hang out with it..

God bless the person who bought Chace Crawford acting lessons. He now has more than one facial expression and even tried some crazy "Joey eyes". Loveee him.
How is that Vanessa can totally act like Nate doesnt even exist? Didnt they do out for a season? Would expect some reaction at the very least but nope... Dan might as well been sitting at the coffee shop with his imaginary friend.
It's just a bit of fun. I have quite a full and busy life, but sounding off about GG is a nice bit of escapism. It's a welcome break from working like a crazy person.

I just watched Gossip girl online and now find myself bored enough to be here on this website. I admit, I do really like the show...but the people writing comments about the characters as if they know them are really weirding me out. I found this sight because I wanted to see the previews for the next episode...never realized people actually have bizarre obsessions with these actors. None of the people on this page know anything about the people they watch on TV. Did you know you are actually really getting to know the middle-aged balding men who sit around a table and write the show? All you know about blair is leighton meester (i.e. nothing, really except what brand of jeans she may be wearing at any given time), and the same with the other people PEOPLE...IT IS JUST A SHOW! I guess, the reason i am wasting my time on this stupid comment page is to tell people to spend more time reading, or developing their own lives rather than sitting and hypothesizing the future of each fictional

i dont manage to like nate! i cant forget how lame he was, i dont mind him and serena together, but seriously he cant say that he always loved her he kissed her at the white party if he loved her already he wouldnt have just used her as a cover to have his pathetic affair with Catherine. i think nate summed it up when he said to serena (after she came to confess her feelings for trip)"a few time ago you were all about Carter" or so. honestly they are both sick. but if serenate becomes the IT couple and outshine chair the show will lost a huge part of its interest.

Aww. i just love me some CHAIR! I have always liked Nate and his acting and i love to look at him. i hope they give Chair some passionate steamy scenes. and i do like that Chuck is going back to his dark side. Its SEXY oh and so is Nate.
