What Did You Think of "The Debarted"?

at . Comments

The final episode of the calendar year just aired, featuring a blast from the past and a whole lot to look forward to in the future. What did you think?

In our opinion, tonight's episode, written by executive producer Stephanie Savage, was one of the series' best to date. Just amazing stuff from Ed Westwick, Leighton Meester and Chace Crawford (yes, Chace Crawford) and great stories all around.

But we want to hear from you! Did you love tonight's Gossip Girl? Did it live up to the hype? Was it disappointing? Confusing? Will it tide you over for a while?

Does anyone know where I can buy or simply find the tuque, that Jenny wears in 7 minute? :)

OMFG. I AM SPEECHLESS. That was an amazing episode. I think the key moment for me is when Serena's car accident unites the cast.

I wish people would stop rescuing Serena after she makes her stupid decisions and let her fall flat on her face...with cherry on top.

best episode of the season so far!!!! =)

The Jenny/Eric truce? I think this is all part of E's plan...I hope he's the one to get her busted.

I loved the episode, but I expected much more.
Ed Westwick is an amazing actor, the drama fits so well with him. I was pleased his screen time was longer in this episode.
Chuck and Blair moments are the best, so I enjoyed their time together, but, come on, in Chuck's hotel scene, when he asks Blair to leave, didn't you expect more? Where are the real Chuck and Blair of season 1 and 2?
I miss them, so much...
I want to see drama in their relationship, I know characters have to evolve, but I want a little bit of action!
Where is Jack Bass when we need him?
By the way, I loved the kiss Chuck gives Blair at the hospital.

FINALLY CHUCK AND BLAIR ARE BACK! This episode's the best, thanks to CHAIR! we need more of them to keep the ratings up!

I just (repeatedly) watched the promo vid for the next ep -
caught a CHAIR kiss/them on a bed, a DANESSA kiss AND them in a bed, a JENNY AND THAT DRUG GUY I FORGET HIS NAME kiss, Rufus meeting that co-op lady at her door.. and it's totally SERENATE in the last bit with Serena being grabbed and Nate's 'I've waitied a long time for this'..!!

This was the GODDAMN BEST episode so far. I was so happy, jumping on my chair like "wheeee, GG's back!"
There was drama, there was Chair action, a great cliffhanger... I'm even starting to like Nate, like, reaaally like : the guy's now my manbangs hero :)
And Ed's acting was EFFIN' GREAT. He is amazing, and thank GOD at least we got more than one minute of Chuck. I loved the interaction with Chuck and Bart, and well... The chair hospital scene made me melt, i watched it like six times in a row. Amazing, amazing episode.

Wow, an incredible episode. Chuck was amazing. I had never seen him affected so much with someone other than our Blair of course. He's definitely growing up :) Compared to the old Chuck, this one may be less scandalous but so sweet/adorable. His scene with Blair in the hospital was cute. I love how he lets her in. Now for Serena and Nate. Wow. Well, first of all, Tripp and Maureen can go to hell. Second, those who think Serena's a slut, I disagree. I mean yeah, she's been with so many guys but I really think she's looking for that one guy to love and take care of her, someone who wouldn't turn his back against her when she's in a huge mess and someone who'll let her in. That's probably why the writers throw her around a bit so she'll eventually see that what she's wanted for a long time is right in front of her, Nate :) All I can say is, it's about time.

Gossip Girl Quotes

And who am I? That's one secret I'll never tell ... You know you love me. XOXO, Gossip Girl

Gossip Girl

[to Jenny] That's the thing. You need to be cool to be queen. Anne Boleyn thought only with her heart and she got her head chopped off. So her daughter Elizabeth made a vow never to marry a man. She married a country. Forget boys. Keep your eye on the prize, Jenny Humphrey. You can't make people love you, but you can make them fear you. For what it's worth, you're my Queen. I choose you.
