Burn Notice to Reunite Cagney & Lacey Stars

by at . Comments

Cagney & Lacey went off the air in 1988. It's unlikely that any Burn Notice viewer is familiar with the drama, but fans might wanna take note of the following record:

The two stars on it - Tyne Daly and Sharon Gless - combined to win the Emmy for Best Lead Actress in a Drama for six consecutive years at one point, a streak unmatched in any major category by a show.

Why is this pertinent information? Because the January 21 episode of Burn Notice will reunite these veteran actresses.

Gless already appears on the USA hit as Michael's mom; while Daley will guest star and bond with her former castmate in a couple key scenes.

Burn Notice Reunion

What else can viewers expect from the first Burn Notice installment of 2010? Sam and Michael investigate the latter's new nemesis; while Michael and Fiona continue to mend their relationship after Fiona's attempt to return to Ireland earlier this season.
