Carter MacIntyre: Going Undercovers

at .

Premiering in the fall, Undercovers is receiving more attention than most new shows for two reasons:

  1. It's co-written by J.J. Abrams, who will also direct the pilot episode.
  2. It will air on NBC and it actually looking promising.

As you digest that second, astounding fact, consider the latest show casting news: Carter MacIntyre will play a CIA agent on the series.

His character has a drinking problem and goes missing while following a Russian arms dealer.

Might this development lead to the reactivation of Steven (Boris Kodjoe) and Samantha (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), a husband and wife that return to work for the CIA after years of retirement? We'll find out in a few months.

MacIntyre has appeared in episodes of Bones and The Mentalist. He joins a cast that includes the aforementioned actors, along with Gerald McRaney, Jessica Parker Kennedy and Ben Schwartz.
