Gossip Girl

The current Season Three of Gossip Girl will be comprised of 22 episodes, not 24-25 as has been previously reported by some sources, according to updated CW scheduling.

The network has been far from clear in its lineup jockeying to this point, but we can now confirm that Gossip Girl returns from a nearly three-month hiatus Monday, March 8.

It will air 10 consecutive Mondays at 9 p.m. starting then. A dozen (mostly solid) episodes of the show aired last fall, also all in succession, bringing the season total to 22.

While the show's devoted fans are getting impatient, and would prefer the show air 52 weeks a year, the 10 remaining episodes this year will surely provide plenty of drama.

Hopefully some of it good. Recent Gossip Girl spoilers suggest otherwise ...
