was just reading wikipedia's list of GG eps and it says in 314 Chuck gets annoyed at his mother, doesnt want to hear her story and writes her a large check so she will leave. S then talks to her and finds out her story (it has something to do with Mr. VDW leaving)
also ep 316 is called "the empire strikes jack" I think his mom is a hoax...S finding out the real story means nothing S is a moron. Or maybe Mr.VDW and Ms. Bass ran off together and L+B covered it up (so interrelated and kinda incesty and gross) or she faked her death to be with Mr.VDW.

i think that its chuck's real mother but also carter mom, making chuck and carter half brothers, which would explain why bart got rid of chuck's mom, because he found out about her 2nd child! only guessing. :)

I was on the set when they were filming a scene between Chuck and his "mother" and I can definitely confirm that she's part of one of Jack's schemes. Chuck was screaming at her about how Jack was incapable of love and is using her to take his hotel away from him. It sounded as if "Chuck's mom" is in love with Jack and he's using her to try to get back at Chuck.

I seriously can't wait til march but I have to state i don't take kristen spoilers seriously she nevers really gets anything right anymore they barely know more than we do lol i need something else.

You have a good point here but I think could also have ways to fix the situation;
The lily's shares of bass i. Is hers, in the will were To lily bass (her name), not chuck's mom or tutor or any other concep.
The mom situation could be anwser by a DNA test, of course, this won't happen till we get some drama.
Remembering how Bart was with chuck about his dead mom,I'm guessing he didn't knew she was alive, so this makes legitimate the marrige(at least wasn't a trick by Bart).
The mom is going to play with chuck to make him lost control .

I can totally see Momma Bass being an imposter set up by Jack, cause that's really low!
And I'm so sick of the promo! Get a new one already. I can't handle two more months of Blair moaning like that.

I wanna see something that will spice up Blair/Chuck. In season 2 Blair slept with Jack (mistakkke) but from what I gathered Jack got a taste of something he enjoyed and I would love to see the dynamic of Chuck having to deal with not only Jack Bass messing with in regards to a mother figure but also having him covet Blair. I'd like to see how far chuck Bass would go to protect and keep his woman.

Since 3x12 I've suspected it would be something to do with Jack's return; the fact their arrivals to the show are so close seemed far too coincidental to me.
My guess is that Jack's essentially resurrecting Chuck's mom via an imposter as a way of gaining control of Bass Industries. If she had never died, by law Bart never actually married Lily, so the shares Lily currently holds in the company wouldn't actually be hers any longer; they would belong to Chuck's "mom".
As she is obviously not Chuck's real mom but working for Jack, she could then sign these over to him.
That's just my guess, anyway.

this hiatus: ugh.
but the promo said good things come to those who wait. All i can say now is that with Jack Bass on the show, i know the wait will be worth it. at least i hope so. damn.
