I also couldn't think of anyone else who could play Vanessa like Jess. I've seen the show and I don't agree with u about acting of Jess. She act good. And nobody can deny it. U think, that Meester and Lively act perfect, yes, may be, u r right, but they have a good material. If we discuss here about Jess, so she had intrigued by her acting, because everyone hate Vanessa, nobody pityed. And that is her acting's effect. She could do that way, that everyone has belived. How said great russian Stanislavski(I think, u know who is he, if u don't know, shame u, it is adressed those people, who is interested in movie and theatre) I simply say -I BELIEVE!!!!

I agree with everything dazed and confused, chair#1 and patricia drunk writing said. I love blair and leighton as much as the next person but I draw the line at being a part of the blatant blair/leighton worship on this site. And I mglad others are tired of it to.
1. Blair is a fictional character designed to be flawed for the purpose of entertainment and furthering a plot
2. Leighton is a human being who is flawed as all human beings are. You should feel entitled to love a character or hate them should you chose BUT Niether blair nor leighton should be held superior to all other life forms. There are far more noble people in the world to worship if you feel that it is necessary.
Just my opinion.

In real life she's cool, I don't agree, that she can't act. She is a good actress. I think, Meester is an average actress. And at least Szohr is beautiful then Meester. And Ed+Jess=cool couple. I think Jessica is beautiful in a very exotic way. I love the color of her eyes and her smile. She must have done a long interview and the magazine only picked certain answer or the only asked the things they were interested on. Namely her relationship with Ed. Sorry, but if you are in a relationship with an actor and more than than a co-worker they are going to ask you endlessly (there are thousand of examples in the media).
