i'm so confused. so is william van der woodsen keith's brother??? i always thought keith was the father not some william dude.

I would've liked to seen someone more handsome. He doesn't come off as someone that Lily would've been married to- aren't we to presume he's wealthy, probably a ladies man and a globe trotter?
I have trouble envisioning these qualities with Billy Baldwin.

appearance wise, Kelly plus Billy = a pretty good blake lively.
But i like it better when they hire more unknown people, but since i haven't seen much of Billy Baldwin's work, It will be a pretty good Keith. :)

Damn, why isn't Keith their father? I love Matt Barr, who portrayed Keith in the 'Valley Girls'-episode and in that episide, Lily and he had a very interesting relationship (they might have argued and some punches happened and such, but there were some unleashed tensions too ;-) ) And I would've love to see a flashback in which the two of them hook up... too bad, it's this William, whoever he is.

Stop. Just stop and take some time to connect the dots. There are two possible correct sets so pay attention. Set 1): Keith van der Woodsen is S and E's father. He dyed his hair because he began aging or because he was tired of blonde. Set 2): Keith's brother, currently unnamed, or a relative of Keith who is a van der Woodsen is S and E's father. No one has ever said Keith was their father; it was always presumed.

Uhh okay.. Not at all how I pictured him but hes got potential I suppose... On second thought scratch that, this is definitely a letdown. Fingers crossed it will turn out good when we see him on the show :S

i saw him in that movie Backdraft, he was pretty good. i'm wondering what he's gonna bring to the show. and heres a thought about his hair color...HE DYED IT WHEN HE WAS AWOL!! ooooooh, what now?

I wish they could've found someone a little more attractive...not that looks matter to much, but if your gonna make the entire cast pretty HOT, you need to keep it that way... JMO!

Hmmm. Interesting casting. When he was younger, he was known as "Billy Baldwin" and was kinda cute. I don't know. I was kinda hoping for someone more similar to Chris Noth's style (Mr. Big on Sex and the City).
Whatever... just waiting until March for new episodes!! :(
