Bryan Batt Lands Role on Ugly Betty
No longer Mad, Bryan Batt is about to get Ugly.
The actor has signed on for a role on Ugly Betty. According to TV Guide, he'll guest star on the ABC series later this season as Spencer Cannon, a soap opera actor who Amanda attempts to set up with Marc.
Batt is actually the second Mad Men star to appear on Ugly Betty this season: Rich Sommer showed up this week as potential love interest for Betty.
Batt portrayed Sterling Cooper's art director on the AMC smash for three seasons. His character, Sal, was fired from the agency after he refused the advances of the son of the firm's most important client.
The actor will appear on Betty's April 7 episode and may also pop on on the series finale a week later.
