The Vampire Diaries Season Finale Spoilers: Several Teases, Big Bang Ahead

At this weekend's PaleyFest 2010, The Vampire Diaries cast members and crew provided an in-depth look at what's ahead on The CW's most popular show.
For example: soon after the series returns on March 25, look for Elena to grow closer to the truth, a development that will be aided by flashbacks that provide intel on Isabel, as well as Alaric’s ring.
We'll also see more of Anna and her mother, Pearl.
Producer Kevin Williamson also delivered the following spoilers for what's ahead:
- Stefan gets abducted;
- Damon and Matt’s mom hook up;
- A random stranger refers to Elena as “Katherine.”
- Also: the layer of Stefan will "become complex," Paul Wesley said. "He’s hiding something.”
As for this May's season finale? Williamson says it will feature several “teases.”
“We really want to go out with a bang,” he said, while producing partner Julie Plec added that the second half of the season will feature a device that’s “going to top” the vampire compass.
