Another True Blood First Look: Theo Alexander as Talbot

by at . Comments

The True Blood marketing machine is in full swing.

Although we're still a couple months away from the show's third season premiere on June 13, HBO has released a slew of photos from upcoming new episodes.

First, fans were treated to an exclusive look at Joe Manganiello in the role of a werewolf named Alcide. Then, it was Denis O'Hare as The King of Mississippi.

Now, the latest True Blood season three spoiler pic focuses on that king's lover, a vampire named Talbot. Played by Theo Alexander, check out him now:

According to the books on which the drama is based, Talbot has an “acerbic sense of humor and loves to cook despite vampires’ inherent lack of cooking talents.”

Over the last few years, Alexander has guest-starred on Chuck, CSI: NY and Pushing Daisies.

I certainly can unrndstaed, as an actor, one needs to keep the character being portrayed as it's written in the screenplay. Reading the books might lead to confusion, such as Tara's character is a white gal who owns a clothing store. I've enjoyed Tara in True Blood without needing them to be exactly alike, but I don't think I could do that if I were portraying Tara.
