*FACEPLAM* Please, please please be joking. If you are not joking then maybe you missed the part of the episode where he you know tricked her and manipulated her into sleeping with his uncle for his hotel back. But sure, I know if that ever happened to me, I would be apologizing to my poor boyfriend who did it in the first place. Poor thing (in case you havnt noticed i am using sarcasim)
People need to remember that this is a television show based on the lives of fictitious characters, not actual people. For instance, those rooting for Dair want to see Blair in a normal, drama free relationship. Really? Is that what you honestly want to see on a television series? Sure, that might work for a few episodes, however it becomes boring after a short period of time.
That's what makes Chuck and Blair perfect for each other on a show like Gossip Girl. As soon as they start to become boring something comes up and shakes their relationship. Because of their relationship circumstances, such as the games and conniving which makes them "them", it's interesting yet not too out of the ordinary.
Dair would be the complete opposite. Sure Dan's on screen relationship with Serena (and Vanessa) worked, purely because their relationship was cute and made most girls hearts swoon. Blair's character is different. She's manipulative and difficult (in the nicest way possible) and

I´m a big CHAIR fan, but I also think that it is a great thing for their story line the breakup part, both are great characters, and some of their best OMG moments have been when they were not into a relationship.
So, as long as their together by the end of the season it will be ok whatever happens in the next episodes. I have seen a glimpse of OLD BASSTARD CHUCK. Should be interesting. We want the hotness back!

Gossip Guy, you think Blair is in the wrong here primarily? Uh, even after she turned down Jack, Chuck TOLD JACK how to manipulate her, she told Chuck they would find another way...then he tries to act like he wasn't involved and blames her? Wow. I used to really have respect for you and the round table, but seriously, that's all gone now. VILE attitude and sexist to boot.

Dan and Blair could work. They have great screen chemistry too (the other pair being Chuck and Blair, of course). Dan is decent, just what Blair needs. Blair can open up Dan's stick-in-the-mud world. They'd be good balance for each other.
Besides, it'd be really, really entertaining to see a jealous Chuck try to take down Daniel Humprey.
I'm sorry you guys but I'm warming up to the idea of DAIR,
I know it seems totally off but there is something about Blair's loyalty and Dan's loyalty and Dan being such a 'goody goody' that i feel would bring out the best in Blair.
I agree with REL, Blair needs someone to make her feel safe and good, it seems like thats what she's been searching for this whole time.
As she said, she wants pure and simple love, better boring than to be ashamed of yourself.
Maybe Dan is this person for her.
Also, remember Dan/Serena won't happen so easily, as their parents are now married and they share a sibling. So, even if Rufus and Lily divorce/separate bc of what Lily's doing, they would still have a brother in common.
Just some thoughts..

both dair and nenny would make me puke! I don't get how jenny could do this to serena, who was aways so nice to her!! I don't think blair should forgive chuck so easily..i think she should have a guy who makes her happy, a new one but maybe she should be alone for some time first..I would stand a dair one night totally drunken stand just so chuck can taste his own poison! ps: wasn't lilly with s's father because of cece's cancer?? then why did cece tell rufus she wasn't with her and why was she in his apartment?? good luck explaining that writers!

Jenny/Nate. Nate is always saving her and if he didn't like her at all, he wouldn't bother. Besides, Dair makes me want to puke up my lunch like Blair will if he kisses her. Dan and Blair just aren't meant to be. The writers have pretty much TOLD us that Chair is endgame. At heart, I ship Chair, Derena, Jenny/Nate (Nenny?), and I guess since all's left is Vanessa, they can bring Scott back for her. That's just my personal opinion. Serenate is just a little too. . . boring to survive on a teen drama. Sorry :(

Ok, now I can comment something.
I´m sorry, but I cannot support Dair as couple. As friends is ok, but not as couple. Let´s face it, the couple Chuck and Blair are the sacred cow on this show, it would be like messing with them more than they have done, and it would also be like messing with possibly the second sacred cow of the show, which is Dan and Serena, because the producers may have forgotten this/not given too much importance, but in many shows, the first couple that appears is the original, Main couple that people want to see at the end (Ross and Rachel in Friends, Eric and Donna in That 70's show, Doug and Carol in E.R., even Ryan and Marissa in The O.C.) and many people still want them together. People are willing to tolerate Serenate because it comes from the books and it was unresolved after the pilot, but go the extreme of Dair? What is this, tic for tac? Because Serena had Nate when he was still Blair´s boyfriend and now she dates him now Blair has to have Sere

Although this episode has left me devasteted, I can barely comment on it and I´ve been numb in my work all day, I have to say something. The thing with Chuck´s dream at the beginning was actually hillarious when we all believed it was going to be really dramatic, and I think it was because of the music. I mean, seriously, we all know that Blair´s dreams are based on really famous, recognized movies, but his dream was based on what movie? It does look like a 50's, 60's movie, but a B Movie.

I would love to see Blair and Dan hook up! Jenny and Nate together would be atrocious - she's just too skeezy at the moment, I mean really, Rufus make your daughter wear some clothes for goodness sake! And as much as I love Chair, I think Blair needs some time in a normal relaxing relationship, and who better than Dan, who seems to be the most down to earth character on GG at the moment. Dan can be the writer to Blair's Holly Golightly and they can go and have adventures in overcoats together. Pure bliss!

I hate this episode to in so many ways yet I love at the same time.
The whole Nate and Serena and Jenny thing is taking too long to blow over, so I'm glad something is going to go down withe them next episode. It is getting soooooo boring. I love when Chuck said to Nate something about him being naive. So true. I love when Chuck didses Nate and Serena, when he said something about up until not the only thing they had to worry about was "whose hair is more shiny." Haha
The return of Carter Baizen was not at all exciting in any way. The producers just make him pop oout of nowhere, still claiming to looking for Serena's dad. Umm, didn't he and her had this huge thing going before he left, did they just forget all about that? I find it disappointing because it seemed to be very out of character.
So the past week Lily has been spending time with Serena's dad? Sooooo scandalous, is I haven't heard that storyline like 100 times.
What I do NOT like at ALL is Dan getting into the midst of

1. Blair's "Chuck and Blair, Blair and Chuck" to Dan
2. I think Blair is starting to forgive herself, so after Chuck finally see what a prick he was and does something about it...Blair can forgive him.
3. I've hated Jenny since she told Nate about Chuck and Blair, but what has Serena ever done to her?!? Lily has been ruined for me ever since she sent Serena to jail, so I don't really care.
4. It was cute. Dorota and everyone else is cute. But that Dorota/Blair scene?? AWESOME!
5. I hate Jenny, and don't think she deserves Nate, or anyone really. Not even Eric's friendship. I'm not too sure how I feel about Dair as a couple yet,(I'm too scared to accept them) but I've always wanted them to be friends. I think Dan will actually be a good friend to Blair, which I think she kind of lacks when compared to her loyalty. As long as Chair is endgame (and we see more than a single kiss in the series finale), bring whatever on with Blair. Nate, Carter, Dan, Cameron, anybody really.

Blair pissed me off in this episode. Fucken writers rewriting the characters, it makes no sense. So stupid, Chuck made so much progress this season, now its like just like season 1 again. Blair was nicest this season than anyother, but shes horrible with Chuck? Its the only time shes happy. Serena and Nate FINALLY get together and they make Jenny inlove with him? So fucked up.
I completely agree with Gossip Guy and DANdy. What Blair did was just as bad as Chuck! And Dan and Blair? That's completely disgusting.

Jenny and Nate. Not because I think there's some great chemistry there, but because I want to see some serious $h!t go down before the end of this season. If those two characters started full-on hooking up, I think we'd be in store for that.

Gossip Guy and Dandy...are you freaking kidding me when you say it's blair's fault? Seriously, after what happened last week, i don't ever want to see chuck and blair together again because of what CHUCK did. It was completely sexist and degrading. And i thought it was equally horrible how blair blamed herself, as well as chuck blaming her. Chuck never even apologized sincerely instead pinning it on blair. What blair did was out of love (albeit a little twisted), what chuck did was out of selfishness and was completely degrading.

Eventully, when he finally mans up and truly apologizes for what he did. and I say what HE did. it's clear they are both willing to do things normal people would never do...but what is the motivation? Chuck "to win" Blair "Because I want to get Chuck his hotel back" She might have made the wrong choice...but Chuck baited her for Jack by telling him all of the things to say ...if he was really testing her, he should have done nothing and waited to see if she would do it on her own..I think we all know she wouldn't. It's simple to me...He chose his Hotel over Blair...and he is gonna have to demonstrate, something, how that is not the case, cuz so far, that is how I saw it go down. Blair chose Chuck's happiness over her own....BIG DIFFERENCE
3. Little J...Lily looks shady...but I don't believe she is being Shady...Little J however has demonstrated being shady in every sense of the word!...and I love it so far...because
