I meant in why we'll never know about what made Derek absent, viewer wise. SR loves Addie, and since she was the 'thorn' in MerDer S2, being planted as 'the victim' (IMO, she wasn't but whatever) in the love affair that MerDer were already having.

In my opinion I don't think Addison got screwed in season 2 because Derek told her that he was in love with Meredith and that it wasn't a flint or revenge that he had seriously fallen in love with Meredith. Knowing that Addison still chose to stay with him. I mean a guy tell me I would dump him in an instant.

2. NOT a fan. I wasn't really a fan of Slexie, but now, I kinda want them back. No offence, but I want Teddy gone, so that she won't interfere with any other relationships on GA. I'm not surprised if she turns lesbian and likes Arizona. But no way she's breaking up Calzona!
3. I really hope he does. Just when I thought their (Cristina&Owen) relationship was improving, it went downhill again. I love the ending part where they held hands. It says so much.
4. Nothing really significant about Aaron, but I like how nice he is to everyone, before the fight.
5. I think Calzona will! I keep wondering, why Arizona doesn't want babies since she's a peds surgeon.

Not a fan,she is still in love with Owen,and Mark is still in love with lexie,he said her that he was learning not to care about her anymore.I want mark and lexie together again.

With the 5 Shephard children I think growing up may have been a little tough. Remember dad was murdered in his shop for his watch, and Derek being the only male in a household full of women/females he had to grow up fast and become the MAN of the house. Maybe Derek felt he had to discipline his younger sister, (it has been hinted that she was a wild child) which Amelia hated she may have thrown "your not my father" line in Derek's face a few times, maybe that's why she doesn't talk to him, and she resents him so much that she kept Mark's affair with Addison a secret, Amelia would have known Mark as a big brother, long before Derek and Addison got married, did she feel obligated out of love for Mark to keep his secret, this makes it more intriguing a question, that would hurt Derek more having his sister know that the man he considered his brother was having an affair with his wife, and it wasn't a one night stand like Derek had originally thought. You're probably right about Amelia's issues. I watched the PP episode again, and she clearly has some big issues with Derek. The 'golden child' comment should've been what I missed.
So Amelia was the wild child gone right. I supposed that by being the youngest, she needed to cry out attention everytime she could. She had to compete with four other children for it. And Derek being the only boy, I assume he got plenty of it.
I think something (event, issue in particular) happened between Derek and Amelia for Addie and Amelia to bond that way. Not even Nancy spoke so demeaning (sort to speak) of Derek. But, Amelia doesn't seem to like her other sisters either.
I guess that the Shepherd household wasn't all that happy. I'm actually curious now to see the other two sisters now. One of them has to like him, right?
About Addie/Derek saga, since Addie got screwed around in S2 with Derek being all love struck with Meredith, they won't get to reveal what made Derek absen

I thought so to that Amelia had professional jealousy but the fact that she kept Addison affair with Mark a secret from her brother, makes me think that is more than just professional jealousy.
Now I get why it was so easy for Derek to leave his life in New York behind.It also makes me think that Derek adapted to Addison's lifestyle,that Derek change who he was in his marriage to Addison and it suffocated him which made him an absent husband. The two sisters of Derek that we had met seems to me like superficial bitches, just like Addison was, when she was first introduce. Then Addison change when she moved to Seattle, Addison became less superficial in Seattle.
I think this is why Derek doesn't want to share Meredith with his family, I think he thinks that his sister won't like Meredith, because Meredith is not superficial and they are going to make Meredith feel bad for that. I got the impression that when Derek's mother came to visit, in the beginning, Mrs. Shepherd

I don't think Christina can have children. Remember her surgery back in season 2? She lost the baby and Addie told her she couldn't save the tube. Either way, I wouldn't want to see Christina have a baby. As gooey and delightful as it sounds, remember how she was with Bailey's baby? Yeesh...

You have a point there. I originally thought that Amelia, having chosen Derek's specialty, may have to deal with being in his shadow a lot, more of a professional jealousy, I guess.
I just don't understand how a close family member can hold a secret like that.
It's sad that aside from his mother, Derek doesn't really has someone on his side. Nancy and Amelia love Addie and seem to be more on her side than his. Can't blame the guy for keeping Mer all to his own.

I think I know why Amelia resents Derek. She is the youngest isn't she? Since their dad died when they were young, probably Derek took the role of disciplinary and protector in Amelia's life and she probably did a lot of stupid things when she was younger that Derek being such a black and white person didn't condone, and Addison used to cover for Amelia all the time. So that is why I think Amelia hid Addison's and Mark's affair from Derek.

Hi anuflas, you are right I was tied when I wrote my post I just got home from work. It was Addison who mentioned that she sent Derek scans of the pregnant lady's brain, and Derek said he wouldn't think about doing the operation that Amelia did. I still think Amelia's presence in LA should be known to Derek, even if it's a phone call from his mother or Addison. And I agree Amelia should never have kept Addison and Mark's affair a secret from her brother.

1. My fav would be when cristina first met Alex's brother and saying Aaron is an "Angel Spawn" while Alex is an "Evil Spawn". And when Owen asked cristina "Are you scared of me?" and Cristiin said she wouldn't want to be. That's so sad!
5. I think Meredith's gonna have a baby. But I have to agree that it's too expected and Shonda never does that. I want to see Cristina having a baby, it will be interesting to watch since she def would suck at taking care of it (She tried to take care of bailey's baby, but had trouble in changing diapers)

It was Addison the one that sent the scans to Derek, not Amelia. And from the episode, she clearly resents Derek for some unknown reason and don't keep in contact much. I don't think Addie is going to blab this to Callie since she saw that Amelia and Derek may not be in good terms. I think Sam will be the one doing it.
Amelia isn't working for Addison. She lost her job in her fellowship but she isn't working for Addie...yet. Since she is a recurring character on PP, I think she'll get a fellowship on LA but in a hospital.
But yeah, this is a crossover waiting to happen. I want Mer to stand up for Derek like she stood up for Alex. Amelia need someone to bring her down from her cloud.
I honestly don't like Amelia that much. On all the PP boards they are praising her but I really don't like her. I lost respect to her the moment she said that she kept quiet about the affair.

The thing/ quote that concerns me is Der worrying about something happening to him and Mer being on her own. To just raise that as a posibility is making me feel a bit concerned something is gonna happen and it'll be down to Kepner. We've a person to hate again, clearly it's Kepner

Don't hate Mark and Teddy, but I saw how Mark didn't walk away from Lexie when she was talking to him, it spoke volumes to me, Mark even said he was still learning not to care, he practically told Lexie he still cares about her. So there is still hope, Mark and Lexie are good together and I'm a hopeless romantic and I want them to get back together, I would even have them actually get engaged, they can have a really long engagement, get married once Lexie has finished her residency.
Now that Derek's sister Amelia is on Private Practice, I would like some mention of her by Derek to Meredith in passing. Like Amelia said she sent an email to Derek about a patient, Derek could just mention it in passing, like "Just got a email from Amelia, give me 2 seconds to look over the scans and we can go" he could be speaking to Meredith or maybe Mark because Mark would know Amelia and Meredith would be asking questions because Amelia hasn't been mentioned on Grey's Anatomy as of yet. Well a lot but my favorite was when Cristina called
Aaron "angelspawn." xD Also, Derek: "I'm going home to my wife, you should too." And Derek's speech on how he doesn't want Meredith to be alone if something happened to him. AWW!

1- When Aaron was speaking about his and alex's childhood, must've been hard.
2- I don't hate Teddy, but it won't last. For Teddy, it's just sex. For Mark, he likes her a lot, maybe to much.
3- Well, look at my answer #5 to see.
4- I liked Aaron and I'm sure we'll have a chance to see Alex's sister sometime. I too, would like to see Christina's mother back.
5- I think Owen will have trouble with his PTSD and Christina will have no choice but to break up with him AND then she will realise she is pregnant. Just a theory...

I know it is silly and I do like Derek saying he did not want Mer to be alone, but I did like the "he is my sisters husband!" Like the fact that Lexie is about to kick someone --, that regardless of post it or not they consider Merder married and that she will defend Mer no matter what! Go Lexie! Now I cant help but also like Teddy's quote "he is a legend" go McSteamy!
2. Mark and Teddy together: Fan or not a fan? I am not sure, I mean beside the intimate part at the end they did not interact so its not like I can say they have or dont have chemistry.
