Holly Marie Combs will play a key role on Pretty Little Liars.
The former Charmed actress has joined ABC Family’s upcoming drama. She'll play the mother of Lucy Hale’s character, Aria.
The anticipated new show is based on a series of popular young adult novels. Pretty Little Liars follows four teen girls, all of whom have been hiding a significant secret since the sixth grade.

Among other adult cast members on the show are Chad Lowe and Laura Leighton.
Pretty Little Liars will debut on June 8.
