Leslie Hope Previews Date Night on The Mentalist
Leslie Hope is coming back to The Mentalist.
The actress will reprise the role of Kristina Frye on the show's final two episodes this season. What can we expect from the character and her interactions with Patrick Jane?
"They're essentially playing in the same ballpark. It's flirty," Hope told TV Guide. "As determined as he is that she's a fraud, she's determined that he's for real." Of course, one thing is different, Hope says: "We definitely go on a date - twinkling lights, candles on the table, fancy silverware and everything. It's a real date."
The Mentalist airs a new episode tomorrow night. Return to TV Fanatic on Friday morning for a detailed recap/review of "Red All Over."

Jane: Good luck Teresa. Love you.

Kristina + Patrick can well become an interesting spin off itself. Lisbon is cute but a really boring character. I'll be very disappointed if Kristina doesn't become a recurring character.

Leslie Hope is so gorgeous that she should have her own show. I hope that Jane continues this relationship.

Um, I'm sorry, but Frye? No. Bad match. Come on, writers. You guys should know that Frye and Jane do NOT go well together. And I'm not just saying that cuz I'm a Jane/Lisbon shipper. I just think that Frye is a bad choice.

If this is the last episode, of course Red John will show up, and why not make Jane's date the next victim, this will be another blow to his enormous ego. I'm looking forward to the interplay since that is what Jane is all about, not action but words. I hope the writers call on Mr Heller for his insight on the character of Patrick Jane, and he'll throw in his experise in the element of bathos/rage/bloodlust.

I was hoping for just such a reunion the first time I saw Christina in Season I. Why don't we all let the writers do their thing and enjoy the show instead of trying to control it. Isn't that what life is all about--enjoing the show? I don't think anyone here says they're not enjoying the show. People can disagree with a specific element that they don't like though. And frankly, commenting on an internet review is most certainly not trying to control the show..

Nooo! I hope this is a fake "real date"... like he's manipulating her to somehow prove that she's a fraud.
Bonus points if Red John thinks Jane really does like her and makes her his next victim.
I'm not looking forward to this since it sounds like it'll cut into any Jane/Lisbon screen time. I'm with Ruth...BOO!

So do I, though as long as he finally ends up with Lisbon, I'll put up with him being "unfaithful" now and again - hope Lisbon is jealous and lets him know!!!!
