It might seem hard to believe, based on the amount of hype True Blood has receieved, but this HBO hit isn't the only popular series scheduled to debut a new season this summer.

A pair of announcements this week should spark interest in an AMC drama and a Showtime smash, as well:

1. Mad Men will premiere its fourth season on July 25. Creator Matthew Weiner has also gone on record and said the show is unlikely to continue beyond season six.
2. Weeds returns to Showtime on August 16, as teased in the new poster below.
