We saw Elena and Damon grow closer, while Stefan battled his dangerous addiction to human blood. REALLY dangerous addiction.
Bonnie also returned, and John Gilbert made his presence felt even more in Mystic Falls.

Delena totally ROCKS. The dance was just beautiful, the eye sex, the little smiles just perfect. Also loved the ending when Damon stayed with her, it was a nice touch just like when Elena hugged Damon when he needed some comfort. Very sweet, I love the character development that Damon is going through. I also love how they show that nothing is black and white. Stefan can be just as evil as Damon. Love how damon never lies.
LOVE DAMON - the most interesting character on tv right now. Extremely well written and acted. Kudos to the author of TVD for writing Damon so well that they were able to transfer his magnetism over to the screen.
Am loving this show. It's like an addition and I'm going to go into withdrawal until fall.

Team Damon all the way. These two are soooooooooo freaking HOT together. That dance scene between D/E was waaaaay hotter than the S/E lovemaking scene a while back. I could yawn thru that S/E lovemaking scene, no believable chemistry at all. The dance scene between D/E had me going nuts. Ian is the hottest guy on the freaking planet.

i loved the ending with delena sharing their stefan troubles. poor elena must be tough to lock ur vampire bf and see him suffer :/ what if stefan dies at the end? lol it does sound mean but for selena shippers it would mean that they might get together (yes might cos it could not happen too!)
i feel so sad for bffl bonnie and all!i think they should talk about this, because elena and bonnie shouldnt lose such a wonderful friendship! pity matt wasnt there but i think it was a lie to stay away from people and all..and i think we might find that out in later episodes! if stefan's addicted to blood..im a ddicted to this show!! i want more episodes and cnt wait till fri and fri after and the one after that!! :( (and exams dont help at all)

I've been a Delena shipper but I really enjoyed the Stelena relationship too. Its been nice to see the subtle change by the writers. It wasn't like oh, Stefan's bad, Elena goes for Damon now. (Ex: Serena on Gossip Girl). Instead its been this slow growth of Elena slightly trusting Damon more even as she and Stefan are getting along. And now that Stefan is going a bit nuts, she's leaning on Damon more. I really appreciate the writers' subtlety in that rather than acting like Elena would jump at Damon. I wouldn't have as much respect for her if she did.
@dandy: I totally see your point on the way Stefan isn't being any worse than Damon (in fact he's still better right now). I think the difference is that Damon controls his bloodlust. He decides when to drink & kill and Damon has always been in control of that. He's also never pretended not to be a cold blooded killer out for his own self-interests. Whereas Stefan has always denied that part of himself and insisted he's not capable o

Really, really loving Delena. Fought it for half the season but I'm giving in. Awesome episode. Damon (and Elena!) locking Stefan in the cellar because he's dangerous...oh, how the tables have turned!!!! :)

i use to LOVE DAMON but know im more into stefan what damon did in tonights episode what pretty much PAY BACK for what stefan did to him in the first few episodes of season 1 !
LIKE come on ..damon has killed vicky,beat boonie and manipulated caroline but know hes showing some humanity and everybody is loving damon !
like please ..the guy is doing the same thing stefan has been doing in this couple of episodes for a LIFE TIME!!

I loved this episode. Glad to see Bonnie back though I hated to see the tension between her and Elena. Stefan definitely seemed out of control. Totally different side for him though I'm not sure I like it. I absolutely loved seeing Damon and Elena dancing together. It just looked full of sexual tension. Overall, great episode. Can't wait for next week!
