ok. so i hav to admit that i cried. thru-out the episode. Betty meant a lot to me, as someone who always felt misfit in his environment. i really wanted her and Daniel to be together. but yes, the ending was way more realistic. Daniel cannot just swoop in and get his girl! he needs to work for it. i have a feeling that they'll be together. and i'm still going wow! over her London transformation! the fashion and everything! can't believe she's the same poncho girl!
I loved that all characters got what they deserve. Mark, Amanda, Willy all got their happy ending.
I have a feeling that the dinner would have gone well. :)

So sad the shows ending Ugly Betty has tought me alot about exepting who you are. its been one of the best shows ever. and i was so sad that ABC decided to cancell it. I´ll miss the show...Maybe it hasn´t been the best ending but the most logical. Well, maybe Daniel has been in love with Betty all the time, but it´s not enough to show us the whole process in one or two days, so, the best thing is to show us the beginnig of their love story. It seems that Betty is interested in Daniel too, but as her new feeling. It has been a kind of romantic ending but, after four years, a kiss would be great. Remember they were about to kiss before, when Daniel said goodbye to Molly´s spirit in front of Betty. Anyway, good ending but sad for not having a kiss and for see the last meeting between Daniel and Betty in two minutes...

I WANT A MOVIE!!! Not one that is released in theaters because as much as I love SATC I think it would have been better on HBO. But I most definitely want a special at least 90minutes long where we catch up with everyone. Overall, I love the way the show ended. It was great. I loved Daniel being a brat and injuring himself. I loved Willie being kind and funny. Amanda and Halston were hilarious. She was a great buffer for all of the emotional scenes that brought me to tears everytime. And I love mother Meade for reiterating what we fans already know which is that Daniel unknowingly has feelings for Betty. I mean why else would a boss/best friend drop everything on a dime to come and spend time with an ex-employee/best friend. Was he purely inspired by her four year transition from fresh faced, college grad working her way up the corporate ladder to bring her true dream to life - to a sophisticated professional gambling on the possibility of living that dream. I don't think they should do a movie but a follow up special in a few of years where betty and daniel get married (great reason for getting everybody together again!) and we get to catch up with everyone and see how everybody's endings turned out good/bad etc!
I loved last nights episode, though I was more emotional at last weeks one where I cried loads. The only thing I was disappointed in was that we didnt get to see them kiss at least would have been fitting even if they had to flashforward a year to give us the kiss it would have been worth it! So going to miss it this season was defo one of the best I laughed, cried and hoped for months people would watch more to save it from being cancelled. It defo deserved one more season! Betty and Daniel forever!!!

The movie is the nest step!!!! The Detty ending is what I've been looking forward since the beginning. The Movie would be perfect for that.

hmmm i been reading the comments and Matt come back mehhh i got over him for the show after he left so over him! Daniel and Betty kinda interesting, different but romantic i guess i mean it fits into her New persona i guess. but yeah i kinda wouldnt minda movie about the way they left things might be kinda cool..

I love the evolution of Betty. This show was so different from the other BS on tv and I hate to see to show go so soon. I think it was a hastey decision to cancel series; I mean if rating were low they should have made some changes to boost ratings not cancel when there are still so many fans!

I liked the ending, although I didn't get the Whilemina/Conner ending, I mean if she could get his sentence reduced why didn't she do it sooner? As for Daniel I thought it made sense that he went after Betty because of what he said about having everything handed to him including women who all fall in love with him, so why shouldn't he be the one chasing after Betty? Now he's the one who has to work for her affection and sweep her off her feet and she seemed open to giving the relationship a try. They leave it open ended from what he said at the end that he is going to stay in London to see what he can find.

Will i wanted them to kiss at least but i like they way it ended . now she knows how Daniel feels about her and i like how he's staying in London he can be close to her. I hope they do make a movie and we can see Daniel and Betty actually kiss.

One more thing - I don't think we need to feel sad for Ignacio because all parents have to let their children go some time and Betty and Hilda are definitely old enough to look after themselves. Plus Ignacio still has a girl friend, right? I just don't think we need to feel especially sad for him because I think he'll be okay, but speaking as someone who is close to her mom and in her first year of college (so I don't see my mom a lot) it's hard to be away from people that you love so much, but the nice thing is that it gets easier with time.
Btw those last scenes with Betty at her new job - so cool, I thought, "Look at you Betty, you have arrived!"

I am so glad they had time to do a last show and we could see how everyone comes together. I love this last epsiode, I cried. I am going to miss watching this show !!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope there is a follow-up movie.

Well, i wanted them to kiss, but at least they left things in the air, with Daniel hanging around, maybe they will start a relationship. Too bad that we will not see.

Personally, I thought that the way they ended the show was just right. I'd had my suspicions about Daniel and Betty as well, but I think that it would have been a little too easy to have them get together all of a sudden, if they were going to do that then they would've needed to establish Daniel's feelings for Betty sooner. I agree with you Amber, people would've either loved that they got together or hated it because not everyone was rooting for them.
I had sort of wanted Matt to come back only because that relationship felt sooo unfinished, but I don't think there'd be any point in them getting together yet again - that relationship is just too much work and Matt never seems to know exactly what he wants, nor does he stay anywhere long enough to find out.
One of my favorite moments was between Marc and Betty because I just think they are so adorable in their scenes together. I think considering that they probably could've gotten at least one more season out of this show, they

After 4 long years, the betty/Daniel ending was meh! I would have been happy if either of them acknowledged their feelings. I am glad everyone else got their happy ending

i was extremely disappointed in the ending , they left so many things unfinished and im sure that is because of the abrupt cancellation, i have been a fan of the show since its start and wanted so much for betty to end up with someone in the end not necessarily daniel, matt would have been a good choice for me but like i said before not what i was expecting, bummed!

To be honest, the more I watch the final minutes of this episode (yes, I watched it more than once already!), the less it seems an 'open end' to me for Daniel and Betty. Claire helped his son to understand his true feelings for her and helped Betty considering the thing for the first time. And then Daniel decided to leave his job and basically following her to London "to see what he can find" (I mean come on, he really needed to go to London, the city where Betty decided to live, to start a new life?) and they were both shyly flirting when he asked her out (and he asked her out after Betty asked him if the only reason he was there was to saying her good-bye). Besides, the 'Letter from the Editor' published on Mode/ABC site (http://abc.go.com/shows/ugly-betty/mode-ny-com) confirms that Daniel went after Betty because he wants her to be more than a friend. I guess the reason why we didn't have a Daniel/Betty kiss is because it was still a new idea for her (although she declared herself o
