Before anyone panics, let us just preface this by saying all we're talking about is a potential death, not a confirmed one, and it may not even be a major character.

But it looks like Grim Reaper may visit the Upper East Side, according to EW.

Here's the deal. According to Michael Ausiello's May scorecard, there are 18 confirmed TV character deaths next month, and seven more potential deaths as well.

By potential deaths, we assume he means characters whose fate is left unclear, and subject to interpretation, in cliffhanger endings to be continued next fall.

Today, we learned that one of our Gossip Girl characters takes up a spot in one of those two categories. No clue if it's a confirmed death, or who it might be.
