I'm not supporting Charice for Glee, even though I'm Filipino. I'm not trying to sound racist, but I really, REALLY dislike her. I'm not jealous of her, and I would never even try out for Glee. I would rather have Paris Hilton there than her. Sorry, to the fans out there. I'm just speaking my mind. But to tell you the truth, she'd be better for broadway than Glee.

I'd be really happy if Charice makes it as a series regular. If you don't like Filipinos and you're too much of a racist not to believe that you're great among others, then might as well keep it to yourself, because I'm sure there are a lot of people in your race who are much better than you.
Besides, if you don't like your country to be known and distinguished, then it's as if you never liked all of our OFWs, our national heroes, Efren Peñaflorida Jr., and a lot of people who are sacrificing most of their lives just to be able to do good not only for themselves and their family but also for our nation as well. Charice may not be a hero or one of those people who do exactly that, but with the help of her voice and her talent, she is leading the way for a lot of Filipinos out there who are talented as well, to be discovered and make it in the international scene, which is if I may say so, is is about time. I'll be happy if Charisse pursues her career as one of the casts of Glee not solely because I'm also a Filipino, but mainly because she deserves it. Remember, Oprah and David Foster believe in her...who can contest their taste? Anybody who's not proud about his race of origin doesnt deserve to belong to one. You are a disgrace to any race. Now if you dont like Charisse to be in Glee, you have your own reasons. It's your opinion. Just respect ours without making too much fuss. The real Filipinos are cultured. They have values and ethics. They love the Philippines no matter how imperfect it is. Some Filipinos may have gone out of way and lost good manners just like many bloggers here simply because they allowed foreign influences to get into their system. Isnt that a shame?

I'm also a Filipina and I agree that Charice has amazing talent. But I have to say, this girl is famous enough that she doesn't need to enter a show with rising talents. Also, Glee has enough characters to keep the plot interesting and entertaining, there's no need to add one more. The lines aren't equally distributed enough as it is. I've do not doubt her talent, but she doesn't belong in this show.

Im actually kind of glad she's not going to be on glee. I've heard her sing and she is EXTREMELY talented, but i almost feel like she's too well known for the show. Granted, she's not a household name, (yet) but I like that Glee is doing the open casting calls and I want some unknown talent to get the parts.
