I don't think Dan is the one who's gonna get shot. It has to be Glittery-Hair-Nate, or more predictably, Chuck : the guy gets mugged, after all. About the Paris stuff, maybe he joins Serena & Blair after he's better, idk.

Putting the clips together in my mind, I'm guessing this is what might happen in Episode 22. Chuck is about to propose to Blair when he's punched out by an enraged Dan. Dan (misinformed or justified) reveals to Blair that Chuck slept with Jenny (whether or not this actually happened is up in the air. I hope nothing happened between them). Blair's devastated and leaves. Chuck is confronted with muggers who shoot him, hence preventing him from going after Blair. The End.

My money is on Chuck for the shooting. It'll probably play out like 'An Affair to Remember', except in the movie she gets hit by a taxi and as a result doesnt make it to the Empire State Building to meet her man.
I predict Blair will end up deciding to meet Chuck but she'll be left waiting, thinking he stood her up when in fact he got shot and that's why he didn't show. They'll probably end it with that cliffhanger and we wont find out his fate until season 4 (but of course we know he'll be fine :P).

Dan and Serena is a NO NO NO what i can see from previous season they just more kisses not more than that.. With Nate they have a better understanding cause they came from the same world... i just don't buy Derena....stop throw derena.. its so 2007

"the crime of sexual intercourse, cohabitation, or marriage between persons within the degrees of consanguinity or affinity wherein marriage is legally forbidden."
Translation:
It's only incest if you are related BY BLOOD. So, while some may find a Dan/Serena rematch morally ambiguous, it IS legal. Frankly, I don't have a problem with it Suppose they were married and THEN Rufus and Lily hooked up....

the ratings would suffer if one of them died. its probably just chuck getting shot in the arm when he was mugged and blair goes to the hospital, where theres some gooey fluffy mush scene and then they go to paris and he shows up.
