ya'll spend soooooooooo much on the stupid reality shows, life is real enough & criminal minds with the CURRENT cast is great. why "fix" something that isn't broke ?? tnt did the same thing with saving grace. i'm going back to more books @ least the authors are true to their fans, unlike these networks. idiotas

I just heard they are dropping JJ from the show. This is one of the worst moves they've made since letting Gideon go. The show has a terrific group of actors now. Isn't this one of the most popular shows on TV? If so how can there be financial concerns? If any character should go, it should be Rossi. In my opinion he brings nothing to the show.

STUPID MOVE on getting rid of JJ on Criminal Minds & Stella on CSI NY. Just goes to show how STUPID CBS really is. They are killing those two shows. Bring back STELLA & JJ

One more viewer lost. I watched because of the cast - their interaction was fantastic. There is no way that can be duplicated with this cast change. I will continue to watch repeats on AE (seasons 1 - 5)but good bye CBS.

Put it this way - you can't keep having a brilliant criminal minds series without a shake-up. I wasn't even sad to see Gideon go. Rossi is great in the team. And I wasn't sad to see Elle go either. In all honesty, the only two characters which, by leaving, would spell an end for the team for me are Reid and Morgan. They kind of make the show with their weirdness.

JJ is boring. Too sweet, too easy to relate to. I want a dynamic character, a messed up character, like you'd find in real life. I'm GLAD they're cutting her out. I quite like Jordon Todd because she has issues which make the show interesting. I'm gonna be even more glued to my TV from now on!

Ok, This is CBS, one of the top 3 largest stations in the media world, and carries the a Show that alot of people say has a larger fanbase than CSI or NCIS, or any other cop show out their! This show is actually what go me interested in in Criminal Profiling, taking online classes and so fourth! I believe that taking to me the face of the BAU, JJ, it will be horrible, and limiting the screen time of Emily, take a look at your fan base! U are going to loose a ton of ur male viewers, now dont get me wrong, Garcia is, by no dought my FAVORITE actor on the show, but ur not going to keep the men watching just for P.G. My mom and I ONLY watch the episodes with AJ, and Prentise. We dont even watch the ones that say have Gorgin filling in for AJ, or even the first 2 seasons, the seasons with Elle Greanway, we do NOT even watch those! The cast that you have right now, I would say has the largest fanbase of all ur other season! U dont go and mess up something that is working fine! A agree with s

A.J and Prentiss? What are you like trying to ruin my life? They are my favorite characters! Why not try reducing guest stars, and reducing the victims? Not cutting off JJ! Not reducing Prentiss's appearances.. Ugh.. That is quite sexist. You lost my love CM.

I'm really sadden for CM is one of my favorites and taking AJ off is a bad move. Don't ruin a good thing going. CBS you are not that strong in that time slot and if you keep fooling around with a great show, you will loose viewers. Don't loose AJ!!!

i luv criminal minds have all seasons on dvd but cutting jj is awful does cbs not relise she makes the show she is the one person everyone relates to this show is gonna crash and burn now and your spin off is crap it wont be watched half as much as original. use the money on original and keep fans happy after all if it wasnt for us you wouldnt be making money.

Great. Criminal Minds WAS my favourite show, but with these changes, I will not be watching anymore. Seasons 1-2 were the best, anyway, and I have them on DVD- the only CM fix I'll be getting from now on. Does anyone know if AJ Cook has publicly said anything about this? And will the character of JJ stay on but be portrayed by the new cast member, or will they introduce an entirely different character? So pissed off about this, although I might watch an episode of the spinoff for the lulz.

This is insane, first they get rid of Elle, the Gideion, now JJ? For Jordan!! They are very stupid. Drop Emily, drop Rossi, but if they touch my JJ I will stop watching forever. What are they going to say the reason she left was?

I'm rather disappointed... I would prefer that they make David Rossi a regular instead of Prentiss. And letting JJ go because of creative reasons? I think they can go far with this character, I even thought they missed some great potential storylines in previous episodes...

JJ is basically the only one people can easily rselate to ... her last ep. will be mine.....i'm sorry but if all i'm going to see is guys walking around w. gunns kicking in doors .and the cast getting used to some new chik replacing JJ .. i'm out ... i'm kinda into the whole diversity thing ..

Once again they are screwing up a good show & will end up losing viewers. Don't understand their thinking. If it isn't making the show gorier/weirder/sexier & ruining it that way, then they get rid of the cast that MADE the show. I will guess this will be another one bites the dust on my list. So sad. Not much worth watching anymore... Sigh.

Unfortunately this seems to be just a continuation of a horrible trend for CBS. Seemingly the more fans “invest” in shows and characters, CBS values the same shows and the characters less and less. The Unit, Cold Case, and Numbers were all shows with large ensemble casts. Whenever a show is successful and goes beyond a certain period of time (maybe 5 years?), CBS wants the show to “cut costs”. This usually means killing off its stars or spinning off a cheaper version of the show. In some ways, this would seem to be similar to a company “off shoring” its workforce for cheaper non-union labor. Talentless money makes like reality TV is what networks like CBS are after. More and more I find I am enjoying shows from the cable networks. FX has Damages and Justified, TNT has Leverage and The Closer, USA has Burn Notice and In Plain Sight, and AMC has Mad Men and Breaking Bad. I will join in with your many fans in signing the on line petition, but alas I am afraid it will fall upon
Totally agree with you BIG DOG...NICS LA sucks big time they could have used the money to improve props on NCIS. I hated that they had better S**T that the original NCIS felt like a slap in the face. I DONT want a spin off of CM I want them to improve the original...Another slap in the face getting rid off AJ and cutting Paget just to bring a new female...BULLS**T!!!. I dont mind new characters in a show but not at the cost of the shows character. JJ called the team family and I would thing that was a message that TPTB WANTED OUT THERE and for what so they could turn arround and STAB FAMILY MEMBERS IN THE BACK. CM (the one and only) and ORIG NCIS are/were the any reason I had to watch CBS. CBS you are a disgrace.

I like watching Criminal Minds but getting rid of the women and making it all male is a wrong move. Probably will not be watching it so much next season... too bad.

With you Lisa, with AJ Cook gone, and Paget Brewster more scarce; what are they going to do, give us more Joe Montegna centric plot lines - oh boy! I am also with AirDave, when Mandy Patinkin and then Lola Glaudini left, so did my regularity in watching Criminal Minds - from every week to the occasional perhaps monthly. I will likely tune out Criminal Minds completely now as a result of this latest development in cast change, and a Spin-off? Please, like NCIS LA was a good idea? NOT! Sorry, but it might be time just to say good bye to Criminal Minds entirely and give the time-slot to a new show! I am starting to get why David Letterman always disparages CBS Network Executives!

Wow does that blow! AJ's Jennifer is the glue of the dipatriate members of the BAU Team . . . she is the calm reason when their are conflicts between the BAU and Local Authorities, the 'pat you on the back' gal when a team member is feeling down, kind of the 'heart' of the team. I will be sorry to see her go . . . regardless of whomever takes on the character of Jennifer in the next season.

Great. Criminal Minds WAS my favourite show, but with these changes, I will not be watching anymore.
