Coming to Fox in 2010-2011: New Show Previews

at .

Fox hit the kind of home run networks dream about when it premiered Glee this season.

Can it top that hit with one of its new shows in 2010-2011? Probably not. But one Fox drama and two new sitcoms are receiving a lot of buzz, all three of which we've previewed below. Should these be added to your DVR schedule in the fall? Decide for yourself...

LONESTAR
What is it? A con man, who lives two lives in two parts of Texas, sets his sights on a wealthy Texas oil family.
Who stars in it? James Wolk, Jon Voight, Adrianne Palicki, Eloise Mumford.
When does it air? Mondays at 9 p.m.
Prediction: We're suckers for anything from the creators of Party of Five, Chris Keyser and Amy Lippman. We also loved Palicki in Friday Night Lights, Voight plays characters you love to hate. A post-House time slot gives this show a serious chance to succeed. Watch a preview NOW.

RAISING HOPE
What is it? An eccentric family (the Chances) are suddenly in charge of a new family member on this sitcom, as Jimmy Chance and his baby take up residence.
Who stars in it? Lucas Neff, Cloris Leachman, Garret Dillahunt, Martha Plimpton.
When does it air? Tuesdays at 9 p.m.
Prediction: An eccentric family on a Fox sitcom? It's hard not to compare this show to Arrested Development, but that would give it unfair expectations to meet. Should benefit from a cushy, post-Glee time slot and Leachman should be entertaining as a crude grandmother. Watch a preview NOW.

When does it air? Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m.
Prediction: A sitcom from Mitch Hurwitz, the genius behind Arrested Development? Starring Will Arnett? And Keri Russell?!? Sign us up! Watch a preview NOW.

** In 2011, Fox will also bring back American Idol, premiere Simon Cowell's The X-Factor and debut Ride-Along a new cop show from the creator of The Shield.
