Covert Affairs Casting Notes: D.W. Moffett, Lauren Holly

It hasn't even aired yet, but Covert Affairs has already lined up a series of quality guest stars.
As previously reported, for example, Gregory Itzin and Eriq La Salle will appear on the new drama this summer.
Now, Entertainment Weekly has passed along a couple other casting tidbits:
- D.W. Muffet, currently playing a man we love to hate on Friday Night Lights, will portray a senator and chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee.
- Lauren Holly will play this character's wife.
Covert Affairs premieres on USA on July 13. We'll cover the spy series in depth, posting weekly photos, quotes, recap and reviews of it.
