Details Emerge on Vanessa Williams' Desperate Housewives Character
It's been confirmed: Vanessa Williams is coming to Wisteria Lane.
We can't wait for this great actress to arrive on Desperate Housewives in the fall. Especially now that we know a lot more about the character she'll portray.
Our thanks to TV Guide Magazine, which was the source for the following tidbits regarding Renee Filmore-Jones:
- She's a former collegiate rival of Lynette's.
- She's been married for years to the same hunk.
- They have no children.
- Also, you won't believe this, but Renee will have a secret!

omg i LOVE the idea of bringing Vanessa Williams. shes such an amazing actor and will make desperate housewives that much more interesting!

Shes dead now though so we wont be seeing any more of edie. i just hope this new series is as good as all the others'
