Who Should Play Olivia's Mom on Fringe?

Warning: major Fringe spoiler and casting scoop ahead!

Insiders have confirmed to TV Guide Magazine that Fringe will feature Olivia's mother in a multi-episode arc next season. No actress has been cast in the role yet, but network sources describe the character as "loving, stable and sweet."

Because one daughter died during birth, Olivia's mom pays special attention to the child that is still alive.

Taking Cover, Aim

William Keck, who broke this story, recommends former Bionic Woman Lindsay Wagner for the role. Not a bad choice. We could envision it going to Sharon Stone... or what about Jamie Lee Curtis?

What do you think, Fringe viewers? Who should play Olivia's mother?

** UPDATE: Amy Madigan has landed this key role.

Fringe Quotes

Nature doesn't recognize good and evil Philip. Nature only recognizes balance and imbalance. I intend to restore balance to our world. Whatever it takes.

Walternate

Elizabeth: Sometimes what we have is not the world we want, but we have our hearts and our imaginations to make the best of it. I will promise you this: I will be the best mother I possibly can be to you. I'll take care of you, I will protect you and I will never let anyone take you away from me. No one. Not ever.
Peter: But you're not her, are you? You're not my real mother.
Elizabeth: You were sick. You were very sick for a long, long time and I think it confused you. Yes, I am your mother, of course I am.
