Boardwalk Empire and Dexter Set Premiere Dates

A couple of premium cable shows have announced their premiere dates.

First, Boardwalk Empire will debut at 9 p.m. on September 19. The highly-anticipated drama, whose pilot will be directed by Martin Scorsese, stars Steve Buscemi as a Prohibition-era politician/gangster in Atlantic City.

A week later, Dexter will premiere its fifth season. New episodes of this long-running hit will center around the show's title character dealing with his wife's murder and will also feature a slew of new faces.
