Well I hope Shonda Rhimes finally gets it. I agree with Beano. Grey’s has great actors but under utilized with such a big group of regulars how can a storyline survive. To top it off they hire more regulars. Patrick Dempsey was made Chief and his storyline sucked. Most of the time he had very little air time, pushed into the background. The one episode that he was the main character had one of the highest ratings of the season, the guy with the big tumor. In the season finale when Derek and Meredith should have had an ending scene with her telling him of the miscarriage, we didn’t get it. But we got 5 minutes of Percy dying by the elevator, a character that nobody cared about. Then we’re told that we’ll have to get the dvd to get the 18 minutes that were left out. I guess that is some sort of marketing gimmick but I would have bought the dvd anyway. Much like the marketing ploy for Meredith and Derek’s wedding with the web site, then it’s not their wedding. The storyline wa
I agree that season 6 wasn't the best but Sandra Oh was amazing! i can't believe she didn't get a nomination!

It's a shame noone from Grey's got nominated! I did LOVE this season but it was a little to much with all the new faces, Teddy, Jackson, April, Reed, Bigfoot and a few more. I think season 7 will be much better! 77 days left!

S6 of Grey's was too inconsistent episode wise and needs to fix that S7. So a lot of this doesn't really surprise me. But Chandra Wilson should have gotten a supporting actress nomination no contest but I think this is because of the overall season so I'm not that upset

Maybe this will teach Shonda a lesson to stop bringing new, annoying characters and give storylines and screen time to the characters that made the show. Like season 1,2,3. Now we have too big cast and people everywhere.
Ellen, Sandra, Patrick and Chandra were amazing in the finale but it doesn't make up for almost crap season with crappy storylines.

Season 6 was note great. One good episode at the end does not make a season. Ratings halved and they made a mess of Izzie storyline. Nothing unexpected - shows in their six season rarely excel at awards. Voters want something new.
